Guy up here has a 6x6 motorhome. It's an old edison truck with a big'ol camper on the back.
It has the wide tires that you see on cement mixers on all 3 axles. Instead of duals it just has 6 tires total.
Wonder how it does in the dunes.

A trip to Pismo this weekend cured me of all desire to own a motorhome!! At least us guys with 4X4 trucks and trailers had a fighting chance, but the motorhomes just wallowed in it until they got a tow!!
Anyway, I saw a 4X4 motorhome on a Dodge truck chassis. It wasn't huge, and had a nice molded fiberglass body. I saw the work "Explorer" on it. Just saw it for a moment in traffic so I couldn't get a good look. ANYBODY KNOW WHAT IT WAS????????????

In the rv trader, someone took a ford F-350 crew cab and they took the bed off and put the "home" part of the motorhome on it and that made it a 4wd motorhome. There is a company that makes them, the company is chinook.
