In Utah you have to. Part of the fees does go into maintaining OHV trails. We have millions of miles of trail all throughout the state; we don't mind paying the fee at all.

Here in Cali, there are still quite a few places to ride... Green Sticker (registration) fees pay more than there fair share of costs to operate these SVRA's.

Also, to get insurance on it, you have to register it!

Insurance isn't necessary - if you don't mind it when your bike is stolen or you get hurt badly and your health insurance won't cover it all... I think of every premium I pay as an investment.. Someday it will probably pay off. But I hope not soon.

Title? Insurance? I'm only guessing at that but if it's like car registration then you can't get a title without it being registered....I don't know about insurance.

One thing it does do is let the Tax Man know that you have it and he can assess taxes

Here in Tenn, you dont have to register them... but you still do get the title if its payed for

I just talked to my insurance company and they told me it was not necessary to get insurance. He acted surprised when I told him I registered it and got a license plate and all. He didnt think it was necessary. Thanks,

Jimmy
