Just looked at the stats. These forums are currently averaging 47,000 pages viewed each day! As a rule of thumb any web site that gets 100,000 page views in an entire month is generally considered large. These forums get about 1.4 million page views a month which is still less page views than our magazine portion of the site but still pretty amazing!

Well..I have only been on a short while and heres a newbies take on
the popularity:
1. In two weeks I had 2 problems with my quad deciphered almost
exactly. (One was driving me nuts).
2. I don't know if it because of the "forum police" or the threat on each
page of easy reporting, but there seem to be far less @$$holes than most
forums I frequent.
3. Lots of free information and a nice cross section of knowledge.
4. Emails alerts.
5. Nice screen formats and set up.
6. People who do things attract people who do things...bored people are boring
