Well Im not at the coast, but Im in the Shushwap region [about 6 hrs from Vancouver], Do you have ATV races over there? I have heard that there is a ATV class in with the MX circuit.. Would love to get into some XC or MX type racing on my banshee..

lots of varied riding conditions, pretty much everything... fire roads, sand\gravel pits, tight wooded trails, open trails, hillclimbs, ect..

If you do, what type of machine do you ride for the terrain? 2 or 4WD?

There is an ATV class at the arenacross events. I'm pretty sure anyone can race. To find out go to tootrickracing.com. I think they organize a lot of the events. What kind of riding do you have up in the Shuswap? Is there a lot of open forest or logging roads? I wouldn't mind checking the area out some time.
