THIS IS WHAT I DO PUT THE Z ON THE TRAILER THE LONG WAY TAKE A 2X8 THE LENGTH OF THE BIKE ATTACH IT TO THE TRAILER BEHIND THE Z SIDEWAYS MAKE CUPS FOR THE TIRES OUT OF 2X2 WOOD AND STRAP IT ALL DOWN

To lift the 400, just put it in gear or put the brake on, and stand it up,,,,be sure not to leave it in gear when transporting. Just shut the gas off.

If it was me I would let the 400 hang over one side enough to fit the kx and then strap the hell out of it. A few adjustment may need to happen to your trailer. Get creative.

I used to get a trailblazer and a 400ex on a 5x8.
It wasnt pretty,,,but it worked.

Just got a new z400. Have a small 4x8 trailer and a kx250. Can't fit both, unless I stand up the Z. Is it safe, will I have to drain the carb? and where is the best place to secure this down. Also , how do you actually lift the front end and then lower it? Thanks. Cool site, very helpful to me as I'm new to the ATV scene.

Buy yourself 2 2x10x10s , cut them in half now you have 4 2x10 x 5 foot boards, load your quads from the side, heavy one towards the front of the trailer. Worked for me when I had a 4x8 but I found a good used 6x8 and now I don't need the planks but I still load a Griz and a polaris500ho sideways. Maybe your machines are shorter than my 50in wheelbase so you may not need the planks either. Good Luck.
