Does anyone have any experience with AtvLine (Markel American Insurance)? Their rates are less than 1/4th what my auto insurance company want's to charge; $167/yr to cover two sport quads.

I'm trying to figure out if it's too good to be true. Insurance isn't worth spit if they don't pay their claims.

Anyone?

I have 2 quads insured with them. I've heard great things about them in the past but I've never filed a claim. You can get a quote online then call them and they will start your coverage while you're on the phone. I got an email a couple of days later saying they needed a picture of the quads. I emailed them a digital pic. I got papers in the mail a few days later telling exactly what the coverage was. It was better than I thought it would be.

Hope I don't ever have to make a claim. I guess if they got stolen and I got $300 it would be better than a big fat $0.

I am trying to figure out who to go with also.

Make sure you understand exactly what the policy covers.

You can check my earlier thread. Keep me posted please, , , good luck.

The best I found was a 5 year $400 policy for my New Raptor, and the same for the sons 250EX.
That was through Pacific Specialty, not a very friendly company from past experiences, but one of the few I could find willing to insure either of them.

Surprised that one never sees any companies advertising in any of the off road rags.
