First of all, I have no problems with ANY age who replies on this forum,from age 1 to 100. It's the IDIOTS we can't stand,the ones who take a semi-sane post and turn it into a childish free for all of insults. My son is 11,very well mannered, and most of the friends he hangs around with are ok,too. As long as you have something useful to say or share,age is not a consideration. I have read these forums for a few years,and learned a lot,and shared some of my opinions and experience,and never saw a need to run down any one's choice of ride,or opinions. I have disagreed with plenty of people here,but kept it civil,and I expect the same from everyone else.
To everyone who has worked hard for the quads they ride,I say,good for you!! Earning the money instead of hours and days of whining to mommy for the cash will give you a lot better feeling every time you swing a leg over your ride,and teach you responsibility for proper care of it (if you are also paying for the repairs!!)
So let's all stick to the subject,grow up a little, and show everyone who reads these posts you CAN be a valid part of these forums,no matter if you are 12,or over 40(ya, I'm OLD !!)

Can you imagine if we had invested 10,000.00 in some good mutual funds before we where the age of 18? We would be loaded by the age of 35
When I was 12 the oppurtunity for me to make 5.00 an hour didn't exist let alone 10.00 but even if it did my parents wouldn't have allowed me to buy three quads, one maybe but not three.
They tought me the importance of saving money!

i have a quick question. do you go to school? if so, then you probibally only work 2 or 2 1/2 months a year, right? witch means you would have saved for how many years to buy them? thats not the real issue here though!
at 12 years old, you, AND YOUR PARENTS, should be more concerned with your future! i might be wrong, but where i live, it's ellegal to work a 12 year old more than 20 hours a week! other than that though, is the logic of this post. your trying to show us how good you are, and what you've accomplished in your long life. guess what, we have too. been there, done that!!! as an adult you will realize that the person who patts themselfs on the back, has a following of 1. we all love to hear stories about great things being done for others, and the pride that follows in it. work is not great, or something to brag about, it's life!!! i work, and so do others. try helping handycapped kids through there life. clean a house of an eldery person, or join in a city cleanup crew. that is something to talk about!!! now, slow down on work, you'll have a lifetime for that. study, give a helping hand, and go to collage, so you can brag about what you've done!!!

ps guy's 12 -16 hrs is standard work hours on a farm.and i was making 7.50 hr @ the age of 17 im 39 now figure that out.not bad for a summer.

I don't know much about suzuki 125s,but a 220 bayou new was around 2800.00$ and a 650P about 6500.00$That is 9300.00$ for a 12 year,man I need to start farming,just imagine Dad's salary!!

You should be happy with your accomplishments. Boy was I ripped off. Here I was and am working on the farm, and when i was your age, all I got was a roof over my head and food in my belly. It must be nice to work on a farm where all you have to work is 10hrs a day. lmao
btw, I don't think people have a problem with 12 yr olds on the net, they just have a problem with all the bashing and arguing that goes on. Most of us are here to get info and offer any help we can to fellow riders. Unfortunately most of the nonsense is started by the young immature guys (present company excluded I am sure).

alright if you have a problem with a 12 year old on the ney and i know at least one of you doi saw it posted on the honda forum i belive.
well heres another problem. and yes all these quads below are mine paid for by me and ridden by me.
no the money wasent given to me i WORK for it on farms.
And you will find that i am more mature then others my age. And that i do know a lot about tractors and truck ecspecially atvs.

well when you work 10 hours a day and dont have any house, truck payments.etc.etc and you live with your parents thats not too hard to come by. well, i presume you mean smoke, usally when you see white smoke in a tractor that either means its about had, or antifreeze is getting into the engine and for that to happen you would have to have something cracked block or something. now if you are talking about steam then a top wasent put on the radiator correctly and the tractor over heated and blew the top and water on the hot engine causing steam...... duh.
if its black smoke you have the tractor in too high of a gear pulling to heavy of a load. cause your putting too much stress on the engine and the tractor may stall. if your on a older model john deere 3020 or so and it stalls while your on a hill you can push on the brakes all you want but you wont have any............... just thought id clear all that up for ya. even though you didnt ask.
