What do you guys think about putting a fully assembled (minus electrical and tubing) 300ex engine is a oven at 400 degrees. That is the reccomended directions for high-temp paint.
I think this is why so many people think high-tep paint is not worth it.. That don't follow the cureing directions..

I have used engine paints designed for automobile engines and the VHT and PJ1 motorcycle engine paints and have nothing but good results.

I have never had any problems with flaking or adhering. I paint the engine and let it sit overnight.
Then I install it and let it run for a few minutes at idle speed to build the engine temprature up allowing the paint to "heat-cure" that way..

I have put painted parts in the oven before to add to the curing process, but have never put anything in there containing rubber parts.[seals, etc]
