I would stay with the 48" plow. The 60" will not really stress the machine, but will instead make the front end sag more under the extra weight. Also with the lighter machine, you will be able to better control the 48" plow over the larger plow. Just my opinion though.

I would not think you need to bolster the front end, it will just sag the front shocks some. It is not like you will be riding aggressive with the plow mounted. I would adjust the front shocks up to their stiffest setting and be done with it. I would also consider some weight on the rear rack to stabilize the machine. This will tend to offset the weight forward effect that the plow will have. I haven't even put my snowplow on the machine yet this year. We have had a total of about 2 inches of snow this year compared to about 20 inches last year at this time.

What would be a good plow a 48" or a 60" plow for my Suzuki Lt2504wd? Would I be better off with a 48" plow? Would it be stressing it if I went for a larger plow?

Thanks i think this would be better to for plowing sidewalks too. The width of a larger plow would be harder to plow the sidewalks. Do I need to boost up the front suspension when the plow is on. I know my shocks have different setting I would put it on the highest setting.
