Last day in Glamis, Thanksgiving. Been duning all week and was on the last ride. Well since I have no self control I blast this bowl fifth gear and start the descent, i did not however see the little step up running at a 45 degree angle to my planned path at the bottom, as the sun was directly overhead, leaving no shadows... Well I launch off this little step up, only getting about 1 1/2 feet in the air, but I flew about 20 feet with my quad pointing at 10:00 and 4:00. I "land" on the right front wheel, proceed to tumble for a while and just when I think I have cleared the quad, (could not see it while tumbling) I come to a rest, then BAM!!! the Banshee tumbles right over me... 1 1/2 months later, I still have a swollen collarbone and my left thigh is still bruised and sore at times... I have now made a concious effort to know when to haul butt, (the beginning and middle of the trip) and when to take it easy (when Im about to go home!)

At least its not like T-Day 2000, I came home with 27 stitches in my forehead and nose!~!!! Yes, I was wearing a helmet...

Lets here some big crash stories. Not the little, oh I got bucked over the bars after hitting a log or crap like that. Here's my big crash this year......

My brother and I were racing our Raptors at a local track and a 400ex got past me at the end of this gnarly whoop section. He went into the corner first and I rear ended him down the straight and let off after I hit him and hit the jump. I had to gas it hard so I wouldn't case the plateau landing. I gased it to hard and landed on my back wheels which pitched the front of the quad down. The flat landing then dropped down about three feet and my nose dropped off and I got bucked and pitched over the bars and my back landed on the hood and I bounced off on my side. Got up ran to my quad and finished the race ahead of two guys. Can't be doing that at age 35. Got it all on the camcorder.

Heey, great wrecks!
Got the warrior in April. 6 weeks later I got too much traction, and too much throttle on a 65degree incline. Flipped on me in an instant without moving a foot! FRactured my left arm at the wrist and bruised my ribs. HAhaHA. I guess they were only bruised cause they stopped hurting bad after only 4 weeks. Warrior undamaged.
Then I rolled the cannibal doing a stand up wheelie on rough terrain and acquired some nasty sand rash on the elbow and a deep bruise on my thigh. Did something to my left thumb that still hurts bad, but not when I'm riding though. Yea that's kinda weak wreck, but the thumb. Bent bars, kinked throttle cable($30).
Worst wreck I saw was a cut warrior flip 4 times in the air at about 30mph. the rider went head first into the dirt and came up with a broke collarbone and broken frame.
My resolution is to not crash...........this month~!

Talking bout wrecks!
I just startd racing my warrior this last year, on the flat tracks. We had just got off the line and were wound tight with about 8 quads on the track. As we entered that firs turn I was already at speed in excess to 40mph. I was starting to get sandwiched between two 300ex's. so i began to back off knowing that i could out run them on the next turn. As i backed off the guy behind me gassed his quad hitting me and shoving my front tires up ontop of the two quads in front of me. Then he run up on my quad hitting me in the back with his front tires. The speed and momentium of him hitting me sent me flying. I landed about 60 feet from the track. I hit on my neck and shoulders and then bounced and rolled another 20 feet before i stoped and ended up flat of my back. I pinched several nerves in my back causing me to temporarily loose the feeling and movement in both my legs. I was taken by ambulance to the nearest hospital where they found nothing broken at all. I walked out of the emergency room perfectly un-hramed except for a few bruises. My quad landed on all 4 wheels and rolled to a perfectly safe location off the track and didn't have a bit of dammage at all. I was very lucky on both counts. The next week I was ablr to go right back to it, with out a problem.
