Have you tried calling the AMA? I am sure they have the statistics that you are looking for. You can also try the steelriders web page. at www.steelriders.com look for some articles they have posted there.

The AMA Web page is www.ama-cycle.org I hope this helps. You may just need to contact one of their representatives. They are really quick to respond.
Good Luck

I do not have the information that you need. Polaris is a public corporation in the US, yet only releases the dollar amount of there atv sales. I have seen Honda release units sold, but no dollars. I would try emailing the AMA (American Motorcycle Association) or another industry trade group and see if they can help you.

just wondering... why do you want to know this info?

Thomas, I don't know how much this will help but this looks to be a good site for atv info http://www.atvtime.com/steelriders/Features/Others/DeathAndYourATV.html

Another person to contact about the amount stolen would be a firm that insures ATV's. They just might know that figure for you.

I hope this helps you. Look up northernlight.com. Punch in "atv theft information" or "atv death statistics" as search words. There is alot of information on both subjects. Unfortunately, not all of it is free, but alot of it is.Again, I hope this helps. Kurt

Does anyone know how many 4 wheeler thefts there are per year in the USA ?
Are there any articles or resources that I can review that may have this answer ?
I also would like to know how many 4 wheelers are sold new in the USA per year. Thanks for the help. Tom

My son is writing a research paper and can't find any information. Seeing that over 80 people have seen this request, and no one seems to have the answer, looks like he is going to have to get a new topic. Too bad, it would have been different for the teacher and class. Why do you ask?

Some good info here. Not a lot, but some. Thanks, Thomas

Info on deaths and injuries will help my son's research. Thanks, Thomas

ttaylor: Do you know the website address of the AMA? Thanks, Thomas

Thanks 4x4CK, unfortunately, all these are individual police reports. I can't seem to find a national statistical page.
