I have heard of the insurance companies trying to not cover “extreme” type sports. That is something that could pass if gone unchecked.
But for the insurance companies to say they will not cover your kids in their sporting events such “soccer and football” is BS. Something with that written in a bill will never pass if those elected officials ever want to be elected again. If not stung up from the nearest tree.

The Bush administration is in favor of a plan to allow group health insurance companies to REFUSE to pay ANY of the cost of injuries you receive during sporting events such as motorcycling, jet skiing and ATVING!! It is currently against the law for insurance companies to single out certain activities to be excluded form coverage. The current law went into effect about 5 years ago. (During the Clinton years!) Now Bush favors this plan that would also exclude injuries your kids receive during sporting events such as soccer or football. The bill is to be voted on May 8.
To all the people who cried about Al Gore and commented on peddle powered 4 wheelers, look what Bush is doing for you. I love my 4 wheeler, but I could not risk losing my home if I have an accident. I suppose rich people dont need insurance.
