Click on the Polaris forum, and do a search on hawkeye. I think you'll change your mind. I believe it's made by a chinese co. Can you say cheap?

Nothin can compare to a Sportsman, so i figure the hawkeye is just as good.

My neighbor just bought one for his 16-year old daughter, but I keep seeing him riding it on the trails. He said he loves it and is going to use it for hunting next year and sell his old 250 Trailboss. He said it is geared much better for slow crawling and it is more comfortable than his other machine.

Looking at buying a new 2006 Hawkeye 4x4 for my wife. We are not big time ATVers so please keep that in mind when you reply. Is this a decent machine for my wife to tool around on. Mostly just trail rides through the hills and woods and puttering around campgournds.
What do you think?

I purchased the 2007 LE for my daughter, do a search for hawkeye and you'll see what I have written about this machine. We love it.
