Browning BPS 12ga 3 1/2 Mag.(kicks like a rented mule) I use a stock choke, but need a turkey choke...anyone suggest any particular one? Season is right around the corner here. What kind of limits do yall have? We have a "1 tom" per county here.

Browning Gold Hunter, 3.5", Ducks Unlimited Edition. Traded a beat up old Big Bear for it, NIB. And I think I got the better end of that deal. It's a sweet shooter, handles nice, can't say enough good about it.
Really soaks up the recoil - I've used it for sporting clays with light loads. Didn't even change the piston, and it still cycled reliably.
Darn 3.5" turkey loads have quite a kick to them. Hate to think what one of them would feel like in a pump gun.

Remington 11-87 Special Purpose.
Usually shoot Remington Duplex Turkey Loads. Always had good luck with them.

Mossberg 835 Ulti-mag. Advantage camo, 3 1/2" mag, with fiber optic rifle sights and extra full turkey choke. I've had that gun for 5 years or more and haven't met a turkey that didnt fall to it when I touched the trigger.
The trigger on that gun is crisp and clean with almost no travel. They've also been designed for the military so you can get them real dirty/muddy/wet/sandy and they still operate flawlessly. I dont test this statement, but know the action is made a little more sloppy then other brands.

Remington 870 Super Mag. But, I use the 3" shells (because I like my retinas attached).

I use a Winchester 1300 12 ga. With Winchester HV #5's. I also have a Carlson extended and ported Turkey Choke and Tru-Glo Magnum Gobble Dot Pro sights. I also put a Limbsaver recoil pad on it. It will throw a pretty dang good pattern with this combination. I do want to upgrade, hopefully I can pull together enough cash this summer. I love the 1300, but with the 28" barrel its not exactly the ideal gun to be toting around the woods. The gun I have been looking at is the new Remington 870 SPS Max Gobbler.

You may want to pattern your 1300 with that turkey choke before you take it out into the woods. When I first put my turkey choke in my 1300 the constriction was so tight that when I put the bead on the center of the target the pattern was off center. If this happens to you, you may want to buy a set of adjustable fiber optic sights that way you can zero in your pattern. It would be a shame to hunt all day and when it came down to the final shot, your pattern was off. Then again it may be on, but it is definitelly something you want to look into. As for the fiber optic sights you can probably pick up some "turkey taker" sights for about 15 bucks at your local K-mart. If you want to go all out you could get some tru-glo Magnum Gobble dots, they are expensive but worth the extra $$$. Good luck and hunt safe.

They do look like pretty nice sights. They are adjustable which is nice. I have seen ones like them before, but never seen them actually on the gun. The price is not bad either!

I use a Carlson choke in my gun. It patterns pretty well. I hear that Jelly Head chokes by primos give excellent patterns, the price is not bad either. If you want to go all out you could buy a Rhino, but they are $$$$$$$$ lol. Mad Max chokes also give excellent patterns. It really all depends on your gun, each choke will shoot differently out of your gun. Its a pretty safe bet thought that if you buy a good choke it will pattern good no matter what. I would say if I was buying another choke I would go with the Jelly Head or the Mad Max.

If I had to, .22 short from the front porch. There's so little meat on wild turkeys the cleaning and prep just isn't worth it when an oven-ready, juicy butterball is about $15.

I have a Browning BPS with a Lohmans choke tube that I've used for a few years and like it.
I just bought a TC Pro Hunter this winter and am getting a turkey barrel for that. We will find out how she does come May.
Load and then unload boys----- and hopefully with some flopping after the big bang!!!!!!!!!!!

Santa Claus didn't bring me my Remington 870 12 gauge, so I'm still going to be using the ole' Winchester Model 50 12 gauge.

I use a Benelli Nova, 24" barrel, Advantage Timber HD camo, XXX-Full Comp-n-choke and Winchester Supreme HV 3 1/2" #5 shot.
But I've been using my bow the past few years. I like the challenge!

I use my rem 870 12 guage for turkey and deer, got turkey barrel and slug barrel with mine

Mossberg 835 camo pump here.. its not my fav gun since I hate the hard trigger pull. Not sure if ou can adjust it or not? But I won that gun in a auction so it was a freebie anyway. It has the extra full turkey choke and throws one heck of a pattern out to 30-40yards!
backup guns are a 870 express, 11-87SP, and a old browning 12 guage with the gold trigger(old style 30'barrel)
