The wife and I will be in Eau Claire the weekend of October 13th and 14th.
My parents live their. We have did the Black River trails many times and we loved them.
We also like the trails just south of Thorp 10 miles or so.
We live in Illinois and Eau Claire is a 6 hour drive.
We also rode the Monroe,Wisconsin trails two weeks in a row ))))))))))))))))
We put 140 miles on yesterday.
Lets hook up in two weeks

Posted by: Markcuda

We both have 2007,700-SE, Grizzlies.
We are comming up on Friday(12th) and going to ride the trails in Millston, one exit before Black River on the interstate.
We did that trail about a month ago and rode the loop from Millston to Black River and then back to Millston from the north side of the interstate.

I am not from Eau Claire live about five hours away, but did go up to Black Rivers Falls the last two days. We put on 80 miles Saturday at BRF, then yesterday drove up to Neillsville and rode 120 miles on those trails. Even made it to Eau Claire county. I do envy you living so close to those trails. Our nearest trail is the one in Monroe which we do weekly if we don't go up north. In early August we went to Hurley. Got to say they have a couple miles of rough trails but I still love the BRF area the most. Wisconsin is blessed with all the trails.
One more things the trees were outstanding this last weekend, our leafs are not changing down here yet. Take care and maybe we can ride together someday.

Posted by: rdw3261

There was a lot more water holes on the trails up their this pass weekend than when we were up their last August. Kind of did a complete paint jobs on the ATVs. From red to brown. I am going up to Monroe on Thursday and again Friday of this week. Thinking about going back up to the Black River Falls area over Columbus day weekend in two weeks. Got to get the riding in before the cold and snow hits the area.

Say have any of you been on the Dusty trail over by Lakewood Wi? What did you think of the trails over there?
