Guys - where's a good place (reasonably priced) to find a trailer big enough for two mid-size ATV's around OKC/Moore?
Thanks,

Take a look in asher. They tend to have good prices on all the trailer sizes.

Justin, I have one that will hold 2 one behind the other I'd sell cheap to get it out of the back yard
Posted by: out18law18
bobby what time are you going to try to be there tommorow?
Posted by: bruteforcebob
leaving the house at 10 then picking jed up and heading that way
Posted by: Justin8541
Bob, what kind of dimensions are we talking? I was looking for a side-by-side set up to keep size down, but if you'rs isn't too big it may do the trick.
I've got a standard two car garage (full of junk I'm planning on parking it in with the ATV's loaded.
Posted by: bruteforcebob
its 4x12 it would fit with no problems and also you'd be able to pull a car in beside it. I used it when I was racing so I could carry my racer and my practice bike at the same time.

Well, most of you know that my Kodiak has been out of service for about a month now. A few buddies of mine and I took our turns at trying to fix it to no avail. So, I finally put it in the shop at the local Yamaha service center a couple weeks ago and asked them to call me with an estimate once they found out what the problem was. I even saw the guy who signed my Kodiak in write on the tag that he put on my quad to "Call with estimate - along with my name and phone number". I haven't heard from them since.
Today (Saturday August 25th), "I called them" to ask if they had a chance to look at it. The guy on the phone asked me to hold on for a minute and I said OK. While I was waiting, I heard him asking someone else about my quad and the guy in the background said, "Yea, his new CDI should be in monday morning". So I said to the guy on the phone, "Hey, you guys were suppose to call me with a diagnosis and an estimate before you ordered any parts or did anything to it".........total silence........ So I asked, "how much is the new CDI gonna cost?" He said, .......ummm $248.00 plus whatever labor is involved and I don't know how much that'll be because the mechanic hasn't written it up yet.
If it was your quad and your money, how would YOU have responded? And what would you do now?
James "I'm still scratching my head" Hale
Posted by: out18law18
James, personally I would call the service manager there and give him an ear full. And then i would ask them how much they charge for diagnosing the problem, then just pay them for that. Since i am sure there is going to be a big markup for the parts and there is no need for you to pay labor on a cdi install.
whatever you do, good luck
Posted by: Bluegoose
James,
That is really a good price on the CDI. Usually Rivaracing has one of the cheapest prices and they have listed it for $278 and some change.
You have already been assessed for the expensive part = labor. Let them finish it and then is will be running and you will be riding.
I have one of the grizzlies there. I worked on it for over a month every day before I finally give up and took it to them. I lost one of the little gismos inside the carburetor when I was cleaning it. I hate it that my eyes are getting as old as the rest of my body.
No telling what it will cost for them to find out that I lost a litte part , but I will be glad to get mine back.

Seemed everyone had a great time at Big Red, $10 later at the car wash, I have a brand new looking Quad. Think that so cool that the owner rides with the customers, takes em on tours. Just a great place to ride.

Bob, I'll get in touch with you about that trailer in a week or two if that's okay - I've got to make sure the bank will let me pay them to use some of their money for a second quad

Yes its true. They have been closed for a few months now. I look for the trails to reopen soon, when the lake starts to feel the crunch of the financial burdon.

Brent,
Thanks for the info. Why did they close the trails down?
Posted by: Bluegoose
Well the river is up and running again. No more desert on the river. It was alittle over knee deep at Rivermist bridge last night. I think it is on the way down. I will check on it this evening and see if it is going down and let you guys know.
One thing to be aware of; there will be police presence areound and under the bridge this weekend. They raided the area last weekend on Friday and Saturday nights. There has been a terrible increase in under age drinking since the river went dry. Both local and out of town kids. When that happens here come the law enforcement. They were out in force last weekend.

I knew the river got some water, but i did not think it got knee deep kind of water. I was planning to bring my girls little quad, but if it is that deep , i dont know.

They closed for several reasons. Cut fences on the back side and people riding on private land. Trash on the trails. And its was getting really rutted up, but thats becouse they didnt keep the trails up. I also think the HORSE riders had alot to do with it also.

hey guys i dont want to hijack this thread but please read. went to keystone lake today[ appalacian bay ] not the correct spelling, for the first time. had a great time untill i went back to the first parking area to get some drinks for the kids. my six year old sons 06 crf50 was there, was only gone about 20minutes and went back to get air tank and his bike was gone. this happened about 6 pm. it took me almost a year to save up for this bike. 1200 dollars. im not asking for sympathy here but if the guy who took it trys to sell it i hope the buyer asks for a title. this is very important dont buy a bike or atv unless they have a title. sure it costs a little more to do this but it might help, i dont know. fortunatly mine has a tilte with the state of ok. i will never buy a bike or atv unless it has a title witch is required by the state now. the vin# is jh2ae03056k613219 needless to say my son is heart broken. i filed a report with the pawnee sherrifs dept. maybe if i had a big lock and cable it could have prevented this. thanks guys
Posted by: Bluegoose
Okay here is the river stats. It is very rideable, but they is lots of water crossings. Some will be 3-4 inches and others will be 2-3 feet. Watch out for the deeper holes. There is a few that are over the front rack on the grizz. Move ouver 2 feet and it is axle deep. Just normal for the river. The water was cold yesterday.
Brent, your kids would probably have trouble getting around on the small quads.

Well, I talked to the dealer today and my quad is fixed and ready to be picked up. They replaced the CDI (248.00) and charged me 50.00 to install it. Not a bad price I guess.
My question is - Is it considered normal for the CDI in an '05 Kodiak 450 to go out after only 2000 miles?
On another subject, we are planning on riding the river at Rivermist 1 week from this saturday. Everyone is welcome to come along if you want, just let me know ahead of time so we can all meet up.

50.00 to install? All you do is plug it in. I guess they have to charge you something. James i suggest not letting the battery to go bad and ride it this time.

His quad, tight fit, screwed in and considering troubleshooting. I don't think a bad price at all. Welcome back to Quad World. Does the Artic Cat Live yet? Dave needs to get that fixed so he can go with us.

Hey Guys,
Well, let me take you thru a series of events about my quad and you tell me what you think.
A few months ago my quad would intermittently not start using the electric start button. Instead, I would have to use the pull cord to start it. Eventually, I had to use the pull cord to start it every time and the display was flickering and giving wrong information like - it would say that I was going 35 miles per hour when I was really only doing 18. Or, it would record that I had travelled 3 miles even though we had only ridden for about a mile and a half. I deduced, with some help from my friends, that my battery went bad and needed to be replaced.
While riding on the river, my 05 Kodiak suddenly died and would not start. After explaining my quad's symptoms here on this forum to you guys, it was suggested that I needed to replace the Stator. Other people I spoke to also suggested it was the stator.
I took my quad to the local dealer a few weeks ago, whom I bought it from, and told them my story (you guys read about this in my previous posts). About 8 or 9 days ago I called the dealer and asked about my quad. Instead of the stator, they said I needed a new CDI and they had already ordered the part. The part was in, but it hadn't been installed yet but that it would be ready by early next week (which was this past week beginning Monday September 4th). I said OK and that I would be in to pick it up by this weekend.
So, I called Thursday and they said my quad was fixed and ready to go.
Well, today (Saturday Sept. 9th) I went to pick it up. I told the guy behind the counter who I was and what I was there for. He rang up my order ($294.00) and yelled to "Nathan" to load my quad on my trailer. So, I waited around for almost an hour looking at the new models and accessories and mainly just waiting on them to load me up.
Finally, after almost an hour, I went looking thru their garage for my quad. As I walked into the 2nd garage door, I saw two guys hooking up a booster to the battery to get it started. So, I walked over and started chatting with the guys and they told me the battery was dead and needed to be jumped to get it started. Well, sure enough, once they jumped it, it started. We then went on to talk about Rivermist and that they rode down there often as well.
They were nice guys and even checked my winch at no charge because it had stopped working. Well, they deduced that is was either frozen up or fried. I said OK, I'll deal with that problem later. Meanwhile, I have a ride and campout planned for this weekend so just load it up.
Once I get the Kodiak home, I know I'll have to pull start it because the battery was dead. But, I was kinda confused as to why the battery was dead to begin with because I had "just bought it" before I took the quad to them. Anyway, I use the pull cord to get it started and ride it around for about 30 minutes to charge the battery.
Once I turned the quad off I tried to start it and guess what - NOTHING. It was dead. So, I put the battery on the charger and it showed that the battery was "fully charged". So then I used the pull cord to start it again and guess what now - I have the SAME symptoms I had before it quit running which are;
"I had to use the pull cord to start it every time and the display was flickering and giving wrong information like - it would say that I was going 35 miles per hour when I was really only doing 18. Or, it would record that I had travelled 3 miles even though we had only ridden for about a mile and a half."
So now I'm back to square one. I'm sure the dealer will take the quad back and try to fix it right this time, but my question is - Was the CDI bad to begin with or did they simply fix one of the symptoms of a different problem that may have caused a problem with the CDI to get it running? Or what? And should I be responsible for paying for the CDI if the CDI was not the real problem? And should I be responsible for paying for additional parts if they find the cause was something else? Put yourself in my shoes and ask yourself, "What would you do?"
James "I'm perplexed" Hale
One other thing:
It is my "opinion" that my quad was not fixed when I arrived. And that's why I had to wait for almost an hour before they would load it - because they were actually installing the new CDI while I was waiting. And since it had just been installed and they didn't want me to know that they had just installed it, the mechanics didn't have time to test or troubleshoot my quad before they released it to me. What do you think?
And one other thing;
If this had happened to you, would you buy from this dealer again or refer him to your friends in the future?
Posted by: bruteforcebob
first off kick the GM in the balls and ask what the Phuck where you thinking???? second, you have a dead short somewhere. more than likeley its probably in one of the wiring harness plugs look it over good check all the plugs and add dielectric grease to them. get a good look at the harness and see if its rubbed bare anywhere its zip-tied. wish you were closer so I could look it over a little better for you. could probably find it in 15min or less more than likely if I were you I would NEVER do this again. and now that I think of it unhook your winch and put a new battery in it and try it out betcha its your winch grounding out.
Bob
Posted by: HavinSomeFun
Good call Bob, either a bare wire or the winch is the short.
Posted by: Jamesh921
The winch has been disconnected since this all started a couple months ago. So, it must be a short from somewhere else. I hope the mechanics can find it before saturday. We've got that camp and ride this weekend you know. And Dave's quad is in the shop too. Don't know if it'll be ready by then either, so we're looking for someone who has a 4-wheel drive truck that we can borrow for the day.

Ronnie,
Both mine and David's quads are still in the shop. Both of us were told we would get them back in time for the ride, but neither of us did. Dave's lost compression so I guess they'll have to bore the cylinder. Mine is under an electical attack and as of last friday, they still hadn't put it on the rack. Don't know when we'll get them back now, but I sure am ready to ride again. It's going on 2 months since I've been on the river and I'm Jonesin'.
However, IF we get our quads back in time, we are planning on an overnight trip on the river to Eufaula in two weeks. Leave saturday and come back on sunday.

Hello everybody my name is Greg and I just moved here to OKC. The quad will be down for a couple more weeks probably until I finish getting my new house set up but then I will be ready to go ride. Do you guys usually ride the river or is that only during the summer. Is there very many places close? How is lake Murray? I saw there is a place out at Draper but I mostly saw dirtbikes when I drove through the lot. I just moved here from Washington so I am used to tight tree riding and some mud. I only have a 2x4 but it has a big heart and thinks it is a big boy. Don't think I will be able to keep up with Bob on his bruteI just got here from the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree in Utah and let me tell you that is awesome. You can legally ride your quad right down main street. Nothing better then going through a drive thru or grocery shoping with the quad. We rode on the Paiute trail system that just goes on forever. We rode 2 different days over 100 miles each. You can just ride forever there. Well anyways. I live just off bryant south of I-240 so if anyone wants to talk atv come on by. Just message me and I will give you the address. Take care.

I like Little Sahara in north western Oklahoma alot. There are many places to ride, big red, 2 rivers, south east oklahoma, but draper is going down hill from what i have heard.

We rode from Holdenville to Eufaula Lake this weekend, had a blast, we rode till we hit the lake. Just an incredible weekend, we had a couple break downs, but everyone made it back to camp without having to be towed.
Felt like I was ran over by a semi when I woke up this morning. Sucks getting old, had a big smile on my face. Jame's Quad ran like a dream.
One of the guys had the new Grizzly 700EFI that was very impressive, Power Steering and all.
My quad is one that bit the dust, did get me back, I don't know how much damage as I drove it 50 miles sounding like something had came loose inside the belt housing, but that's what we have Parts Guys for right? Top speed of a whopping 23 miles per hour. Wooooooooooo Whooooooooooooooo!!!

The King lives. Shreaded a belt, it got me home 60 miles. Amazing!!!!!!!! All back together and ready to go this weekend!!! I kept the OEM belt with 100 miles on it shelved, Thank goodness.
Ever happens to you guys, I swear it sounds like your whole engine is about to come apart. Was missing about half the teeth.
Where we going?

Do any of you have experience with the Appalachia Bay ORV area at Lake Keystone? Is it worth the drive from Shawnee? Any info is appreciated. Also, when is Prague Lake supposed to open back up? Thanks.

Sure did happen to me. On the river @ about 40 mph. I lost about 6" of the cogs. Sounded like the right side of the motor was about to explode. Scared the s#I+ out of me.

I was a little abusive with my quad this weekend, first I drown it, then I got stuck pulling out a dead tree, then continued to enjoy the pulling out dead trees for the camp fire. Next morning when I woke up and took off, my belt was jacked. Got worse throuout the day.

The belt that granaded on me was an aftermarkt belt. NEVER again will i not use a stock belt.

Yes I was running a Carslie UA-401, which has been on there for about 1600 miles, I should have changed it sooner. Supposed to be changed at 1200 miles. Man, my OEM belt is $180. The Carslie belt if purchased from a Refrigerator Repair shop, cost $30, I can purchase 6 of these, change em every 500 miles and be way ahead. Of course if the 3rd party belts fail more then the OEM, I see what ya mean. I'm going to snorkle my belt housing as it getting wet so easily is very frustrating. Haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do to it yet, but gonna start on that tonight.
AWESOME BONFIRE, course I got in trouble, cause LOL, it was too hot to roast marshmellows. =O)

Anybody seen the little sand buggy for sale just south of I-240 (access road) between bryant and eastern? I dont know anything about them but the guy wants to trade it for my nissan truck. I just dont know what it is really worth. the only thing that i know is that it has suspension, 1700cc bug motor with a bus trans and the frame seems to be welded well. Hopefully some of you buggy guys can lend me some of your knowledge.
Posted by: trailride
Andy, Is it green?
Brent
Posted by: campNride
I had one similar years back when I lived in oregon and I got it for like $1500 if I remember right. Course mine had a nice fiberglass shell. I have looked at the buggy everyday as I pass by but never stopped. Will have to stop and look.
Posted by: out18law18
yes it is green
Posted by: Justin8541
Were any of you guys out at Purcell yesterday? Me and a buddy were out there on red Hawkeyes.
Had my first break down yesterday, sucked some water, soaked the air filter and fouled the plug from the looks of things. Naturally I didn't have any tools with me, so I had to get towed back to the truck. The worst part was when a guy loading up his horses came over and helped push the ATV up on the trailer I told him I guess his might be a bit more reliable than mine

Need some help...
I have a 2003 polaris trailboss 330 and am trying to rejet my quad back to the original main jet. Only problem is I don't know how to do it and the maintenance book doesn't talk about it. I am sure it is easy because the shop did it in 30 minutes when I was in Utah. I don't want to spend the money to take it in and have a shop do it. Does anyone know how to do it or have the time to show me? I'll supply the beverages.... I live in Moore just off of I-240 on Bryant. My other parts came in so I should be ready to ride soon. That is if the wife will let me loose....
Greg

campnride,
I don't know how to do it, but if nobody here can give you an answer, post your question in the polaris section of the forum. Somebody there should know. Good luck.

4wheel,
I will be in Cowboy camp. It is so much easier to get in and out of the camping spot with our big trailers. One is 33 foot and and the other is 38 foot and we pull them with double cab trucks.
Just look for a Tahoe Transport trailer with "Easin" Around" on the back door. We usually park near the bathroom. Stop in and meet us and have a cold one or two.

looks like we are gonna try to ride at big red on saturday around 10-10.30
Posted by: HavinSomeFun
I wanted to try Big Red. However, this Saturday is also opening day for Blackpowder. I will be freezing my axx of up in a tree, Then off to Masters of the Cage at Thunderbird. How is Big Red?
Posted by: out18law18
BIg red is not too bad. there are trails some challanging some mild, after a rain it is plenty muddy. There is also a drag strip area and a couple of ponds. Its only downside is the amount of trails could be more, but of course the one time we were there i am sure that we didnt hit all of the trails available.
Posted by: trailride
Kevin, Why did the Cage fights change from the Farmers market to Thunderbird? The fights are November 18th correct? I am losing track of all the fight dates and places.
Brent

Please post if big red is a for sure thing saturday i could meet you out there and ride for a few hours have a party that evening but 10-3 would be great.

Brent, it was a political move more than anything. Thunderbird has alot to offer. the next fight is this Sat the 28th, then Nov 25 and a new years blowout on 12/31

Posted by: out18law18
Had a great time. I bet that we didnt ride more than 10 miles in the 4 hours the we were there. Most of the time was spent trying to conquer the 3 ponds and the big creek that he has there. I am happy to report that i made the 2 smaller ponds my bitch! LOL And i had a good time testing out my snorkles, glad to say that they worked great.

Brent,
Are you guys really going to Sahara after Thanksgiving? I don't think the rail will be ready but I might just take some 4 wheelers and go during Thanksgiving break. Busted tranny during Fall break. I have takened the tranny out of the sandrail yet.
I think some of the guys from Fort Worth are going the day after Thanksgiving.

Hey Hey Hey....Its Faaaaaaaaat Bobmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, And hes gonna sing a song for you...
Hey Guys..... I went riding a couple weeks ago for the first time since April 22. We had a great time. Keith and I rode 81 miles of trails and logging roads, and rescued two standed "fisherman"...we think they were dopers but were not dope authorities so we would not be qualified to make that determination.
The other night I was at a bar in Tulsa and was REALLY hammered. I opted to do a little "Drunk Dialing" and I talked to our old friend Mikey N. He is alive and well and kicking. Did anyone hear anything about Aaron moving to Arkansas??? Heck I don't know...maybe he has a really good looking sister there...who knows.
So yall tell me about this here Big Red ATV park...what all do they gots??? Do they gots hills? Do they gots trails? Do they gots sand dunes? Do they gots a pole? Do The Gots goats?
Jason B....
As for your cage fights....well I only go to "real" sporting events like Rasssssslin'
Also....any chance that the Street Kings will be putting on an exhibition between fights?
Jason...Do you have any tickets for "Indoor Broad Jumping?"

Ronnie, Yep we go every year the day after thanksgiving. I guess this year it will be on the 24th. My Prairie is also down for the count, but i still have the old ladies V force.
Bob. Who the hell are you?? We used to have a guy in here named Bob, but he was abducted by aliens and they did wierd things with probes on him. He liked it soo much, that he stayed onboard with the aliens, and never returned. You must be the clone they sent to earth , like the last star fighter movie.
Yes Aaron moved to Arkansas for a new job.

I thought BOBMAN had died, or just worked all the time, and did not like riding anymore..... YOU guys need to post more, so I can respond. I still look at this site everyday to see if you are ever going back to Antlers. That was an awesome trip with you guys.
Welcome back BOBMAN..... Keep us posted on what you are doing, and where you are going to ride..... IF YOU EVER RIDE AGAIN. Let's see.... April to November.... that is only seven months of no riding. I guess you will be ready to go in June. We will go with you then.

I would be up for another Antlers Trip in the coming months...unless it's just too cold.
It would have to be on a Sunday as that is the only weekend day I have off.
I think we could have a great time.
Bob "Tell me what yall think" Bobman
Posted by: out18law18
It is up to about 75%. It has just never been right since i snorkled it and the getting some water in the motor did not help.
Posted by: Bluegoose
I'm ready for a trip in the sourheast (Antler's), but I think I will wait until after DEER season. I don't want to be someone's hood ornament that confuses me for a deer. I know how them boys from the southeast are.
Brent, the tranny comes out of the sandrail tomorrow evening. I'm taking it to Crowley, Texas this weekend and maybe it will be ready the next weekend. If that happens it will be at Sahara during Thanksgiving. I still owe you a ride in the rail. I'm smiling just thinking about going again. Best thing I did was buy my wife a Tahoe Toybox 5 wheel trailer, she is ready to go to the dunes, southeast Oklahoma or where ever when I'm ready to go. If she doesn't like the weather she can statyinside and cook, or read or watch TV or take a nap. This means Ronnie gets to play more!!

Well guys i got a long and kinda sad story..Ill give yall the sad part first..Im going tough a devorce..So thats going to take up some of my time over the next month..But thats a long story...
Here is some awesome news...
My banshee is nutting but parts right now..i got the motor all the way apart..iv got the frame tore all the way down..all the bolts are in a box..there is not one peace of the quad bolted together...What im going to do..is have eveything powdercoated..before i go back together with the engine and stuff..its going to have the black plastic that was on it..and the frame a-arms carrior will be blood red..and the +6 swinger will stay the same Black..and the dura blue axle that is on it..will be powdercoated black...the only chrome will be the out of frame drag pipes and the rimes...The crome skull grill in it will even be powdercoated blood red...i sould have it back together in the next month or so...Not sure what kinda build im going to do on the motor yet....iv got the pistion there just .20 over...but i dunno if i want to make it a high compresson motor...or alow compression motor and run the nos on it...Im thinking low compresson because i can have a good duner quad..and when i wanna race i can turn the bottle on...
But im open to any ideals...I mean iv built alot of motors...but there is only one way to learn new stuff..and thats ask questions...

I just got off the phone with Prague City Hall. There are no plans to reopen the ATV trails at Prague Lake. They said that the City Council closed them and there is, and has not been, anything on the city council agenda to revisit the issue.
That sucks!
Course, maybe Brent knows something that the City won't talk about.

Bob,
Glad to hear the aliens released their "Probes" from your netherregion.

Brent, I just replaced one of these on a P650. They were gone completly and I thought the swing arm was wasted as well. I was able to salvage it and get everything back in working order. I have a extra set of bearings if you need them.

Andy, yes they do have a little warning sign. Jack the quad up, with the swingarm hanging. Get behind the quad and move the swingarm left to right. If you have any play at the top of the swingarm, REPLACE them. Christies V force left bearing was gone. My prairie seems to be ok , but i am still going to change them, becouse water can still get to them from the back side. You need to put freeze plugs in the holes to seal them. I would urge anyone who has this set up to change them even if you think they are good. It will save you half a riding day easy.
Go to www.700v.com and look at his step by step instructions on what to do. Nyroc's site should also have it.
Kevin, I will be ordering 2 sets for both my quads along with some other parts i need, so thanks for the offer but i will use timkin bearings for this application.
Also kiss of deaths wbsite is also very helpful. I dont know the web addy off the top of my head, but you can find him in the Kawieriders forums.

Brent, the freeze plugs are a must. I read somewhere about puting a grease zert also. You might want to research that part and keep them greases up. The bearings I have are the timpkens set.

Hey guys, I've moved to Arkansas. The locals around here tell me about riding galore! I spend most of my weekends driving back to OK since my family hasn't moved yet. If anyone ever wants to set up a ride here in Arkansas let me know. I shouldn't have a problem finding even some private land to go ride on, and the scenery is incredible around here.
Brent, thanks for the info about the brute. I drive through Shawnee now just about every Friday and Sunday! Hopefully I'll get to meet up with you guys and go ride sometime soon.

You get an F at returning phone calls BR>
But that's okay, I get an F at ATV's this year...I've only started my quad ONCE since spring....Too much work. BR>

Aaron, Nice to hear from ya. Where in Ark. Did you move to. I heard you might be at Russellville, or Moralton. Your Brute wont have the same set up as mine does for swingarm bearings. Since yours is a 650i . How is the new job coming along?

I am hoping for enough snow to make it worth dragging my ATV out of the shed. I am not going to go out to any riding areas but I do plan to ride it around the neighborhood and I know where there is a big field I can ride in here within the neighborhood.
Mikey N....
Good to hear from you again...I may send you mail instead of drunk dialing you again.
Brent...I need to call your ass more...I've been going underground a lot here lately
Aaron... I guess your sister is soo good looking that it paid off for you all to move to Arkansas huh???

The sister I met of his was pretty hot. BR>
I guess signing on here last night gave me the bug...I went through a tank and a half of gas today, doing 720 degree spinning powerslides all over the neighborhood all day.
It's coooold out. I can't feel my eyes.

Brent, I have a place in Conway, AR which is about 30 miles east of Russelville on I40. I am in Russelville a lot though. My 650 is the same as yours, it's not the 650i, its just the regular 650.
Mike, I always figure your asleep when I'm in my truck for hours at a time! I thought I'd make it back this weekend, but the roads might be a little too slick. It's already a 41/2 hour drive without the ice!
Bob, stay away from my sister!BR>Oh yea, I sold my KFX 400, guess I'm going to have to look at the new KFX 450, or I'm thinking about a Brute 750, I'm torn....

Man oh Man what a day. Had the Prairie 700 out in the ice and snow today. I figured out how to do donuts in 4 wheel drive. It is like a carnival ride. I thought I was going to blow chunks. Didn't work as good on the Brute with Mudlites and IRS. Still fun!

I'm up all day, every day. If I'm not, I just won't answer the phone. Roads are pretty nasty right now too.
Kevin, my new truck is AWD, and "carnival ride" is a good descriptioin of the donuts it does
Posted by: Bobman
I took my quad out around the neighborhood as well....It was cold. Riding North REALLY sucked.
But I did a lot of donuts too.
Aaron...I guess you aren't perverted enough to get my innuendo about Arkansas and sisters...someday it will come to you as drive down the road...then you will just be discusted and say, "Sick bastard!!!"

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone else has seen the stories in the papers about a bill similiar to last years atv bill? Except this one is based on a NC law. It may ban kids under 8 and will set age/cc regulations etc. ABATE has mentioned this on one of their pages.
FOR SALE: 01 Yamaha Raptor 660, $2000

Went to Glamis last month and had a great time.
Am now thinking about a ride on the Baja pennisula. Dont have a date, distance or destination in mind. Is anyone interested in going sometime next year. It would be good to have 4-6 riders going. I have a friend that lives at Lake Havasu City and one here in OK that is interested. We could ride down the pennisula and haul back or ride a loop.
To quote superhunky "someday you will be in a wheel chair eating through a straw and wishing you had some more adventures to remember.
If interested, lets get together.

Charlie... I see that the rumors of you demise are greatly exaggerated.
It's good to hear from you again. How goes the selling of homes???
I've been so busy as of late that riding is something that has been placed on the back burner.
