Bob,
Well, I've referred a few people to the club, but none that I can recall that had the same last name as mine. Must be a coincidence.

Well I went and did it today. I am the proud owner of a new Brute Force 750. Can't wait to try it out at Murrey this weekend. What time is everyone going to meet on Saturday?

Posted by: Bobman

Andy B...

I played one more after you left. I was in first and we were on question 13 then I got a question that named two Indian Reservations and asked what state they were in. Craze & Craze 2 BOTH got a 1000 on it and I ended up in 3rd. OUACE was all PO'd too. He didn't stand a chance of winning, he was just upset at the questions...When it is quiet like that you can hear him complain and grimace A LOT. So I had to leave without winning one at all...taht HURT bad...I may need to seek some sort of greif counseling.

I think the Lake Murray Ride is Sunday as opposed to Saturday...at least that is the information I had been given.

Brent....we could have a rendevous point at one of the truck stops on I-35.

I know there is a Love's at I-35 & S. 89th

There is another Loves at just south of Norman on the Hiway 9 exit

If you want we can all agree to meet there at about 8:00 and that should keep time lines consistant with a 10:30 to 11:00 AM arrival

I am home sick today so I thought I would help out if anyone needs driving directions...

Here is some information I got from a guy who rides there on a semi-regular basis:

I35 to exit 29 (Hwy 70), go East (left), go 5 miles to Lindsey Rd (or Lindey can't look it up at work), that's where you'll see the gold horse on the left. Turn Right on Lindsey and go to first road on the right. That is the entrance to the park.
Rates are $7 per person a day to ride
$19 for RV parking (electric/water)
$8 primitive camping (includes trailers/camper) per tent/camper
Showers are 3 minutes for 50 or 75 cents, can't remember, so bring a handful of quarters.
Phone number is 580-223-4044

Here is a link to some Murray Pictures as well

Posted by: Jamesh921

Lonnie,
Good for you, dude!!!. I'm sure you're gonna love the Brute.

When I bought my first motorcycle 28 years ago, my dealer told me to "break it in like you're gonna ride it". I don't know if he was right, but I did as he suggested and rode that Honda Elsinore for several years.

Twenty eight years later, I would suggest breaking it in "as your dealer suggests". Either that or ride the HECK out of it and see how it responds - much like you would treat a new wife BR>
James "still married after 6 years and she's still happy" Hale

Posted by: gsettle081

James
If you die in the next few weeks, we will understand why. A wife can not be broke in like an ATV. You have to break a wife in gradually. It may take YEARS. If your wife reads your post, SHE will kill you.

Gordon "still TRYING to break my wife in after 10 years" Settle

Posted by: Brink74868

You have to break in a wife, too? Missy began the break in period about 6 years ago and is still working me over. I just took for granted that wives were already broke in like stonewashed jeans. Is this the reason I don't ride as often as I would like (both on & off the Grizzly)?

Jason "I feel confused more now than ever" Brinker

Posted by: Bobman

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Jason, James and Gordon have brought up a very valid point concering the break in period on brides. Now I am a man who steps back, gathers his perspective and looks at things from all the different angles and I think I have a "new angle" on this bridal break in phase.

Now I am always a guy who is looking to help his fellow man. So I think I could provide a valuable service to the community and to mankind in general if I were to open a side business in which, for a nominal fee, I would take young brides, say 18-25, and break them in for say 3-5 years. And since this would be a business and I would not actually be married to any of said chattle...errrrr I mean wonderful young ladies, I could actually "tutor" up to seven "clients" at a time devoting one night each week per pupil. Of course as this is a business the husband would have to send a monthly stypend (sp?) for the care and upkeep of his bride while in my care.

I think the income potential is there. Gordon, write me up a business plan. Jason find me a banker to finance my "stable." James print up some flyers to let everyone know about the services I will soon be offering.

Bob "When you are home sick you have a lot of time to think up stuff like this" Bobman

Posted by: gsettle081

Bobman
As usual you bring a different slant to a problem that has plagued mankind for centuries. This is why this proposal will NOT work my young friend. For example:
#1 You can not handle 7 women. (not that you couldn't stamina wise, but you will not be able to stand the bickering between the women.)
#2. The women will not go for "you as a trainer" because their basic nature is to TRAIN YOU like thay want someone to be. If you were not going to be a permanent solution, they will not have no interest.
#3 $$$$$. 7 women will want more than even Warren Buffet could provide.
#4 Their interests... They will not be able to take you shopping for things around the house. They want to make a home their own. Yours would NOT be their own house,so it will not work.

There are many other reasons this idea has never flown. I just can't remember all of them now.

Posted by: Bobman

Gordon....

Your points are valid..but I would still be willing to undertake this endeavor and I figure the worst that could happen is that I would have file bankruptcy on the corporation and literally WORK myself to death....so yeah go ahead and put me down for it.

Bob "Can you think of a better way to go out on disability" Bobman

You are trully a remarkable man. My hat goes off to you!!! I don't think you will be happy if you take this project on.

Gordon " only one wife to break in" Settle

Posted by: Jamesh921

OK, since you guys are my friends I'll tell you how to properly break in a wife so's she never nags you again. But, I'm only going to say this once, so listen closely:

How I broke in my wife:
I was passing by the intersection at the off-ramp of I-40 and Meridian in OKC one day when I saw a guy on the corner holding a sign that said, "Hungry - Please Help".
The guy was pretty dirty, dressed in rags and had a very sad look in his face. When I looked into his eyes, I felt kinda sorry for this poor guy. His destitution gripped my heart deeply so I rolled down my window and asked him to come over to the car.

I pulled a $20 dollar bill out of my pocket, held it up so he could see it and asked him 3 questions;
1. If I give you this 20 dollar bill, are you gonna spend it on alcohol?
"No", he replied.

2. Are you gonna go buy cigerettes with it?
Again he replied with a stern, "No".

3. Are you gonna go gamble with it?
"Absolutely NOT!!!", he insisted.

"OK" I said, "I'll give you this 20 dollar bill if you'll go home with me and show my wife what happens to a person when he stops drinking, smoking and gambling".
After that, my wife hasn't nagged me since.

O my god i took my swing arm partially apart on my 400ex and you should have seen the large amount of water and sand that leaked out! I couldn't believe it, I guess the river is really really hard on bearings and seals which i replaced(6 hours) I thought the job would take 2 hours but boy was I wrong. It was easily the most difficult atv related project that i have ever under taken. But on to my point, Monday a bunch of guys at work were talking 4 wheelers and one mentioned that he was thinking about getting one for himself and of course i said "I got a 400ex I'll give u a hell of a deal on" he then replied "how much?" so i told him 2800 and he said would 2500 take it? I said come ride it and we will see. Well I am now one 4 wheeler short in my stable and 2500 richer all that fast. I guess it was a right place right time thing for both of us.

Can I get a head count on the riders planning to attend the Lake Murray ride this sunday.

Bob is there a place to meet up at past Davis?

Brent

Posted by: JimsPolaris

Right off of I-35 there is a Casino and a couple of Convenience stores there. The best place to meet would be at the convenience store on the north side of the road. It is the Hwy 7, Davis/Sulphur Exit. The Casino is right behind the Store. Is that where you meant?
Are we cooking out or on our own for vittles.
I will be there as far as I know!!

Brent, I wont be there Sunday. I am actually heading out today and will stay until Saturday evening. I couldnt Wait till Sunday to try out the new Brute Force 750. I also went there last weekend, everyone will enjoy the place. A little bit of everything for riding.
My friend Brian sank his 660 Grizz last weekend there and it is a goner. When we pulled the plug it was shooting out mud. For some reason it doesnt have any compression. Oh Well, that what insurance is for.

If you want to follow me down that will be okay. Meet me at the Love's Country Store that is on Hiway 9 just to the east of I-35. I am 99% sure it is the first exit after you cross the river just south of Norman. I will be there until about 8:00 AM. I will be driving a Maroon F-150 and will be towing a trailer with a yellow Suzuki 700 on it.

There is all kinds of riding there. Brent was the only crash of the day and it was minor, just flipped over in the sand. I did catch a little air myself, which I was not expecting, but did not result in a crash or any broken bones!! It was a great day. THere were alot of people there, but the place is so big you do not see alot of people out on the trails. You guys missed a great day of riding! Lonnie got to break in his new BF 750. Well here it is Sunday night, all the easter eggs are craked and I'm tring to make plans for next weekend. I have a buddy who is suppost to be getting a King Quad this week. So if this happens we would like to go down to Lake Murry on Sat. if any one wants to go. How ever this trip will depend on my friend getting his King Quad, you see he has already bought it from Oklahoma honda and Susuzki but they want let him have it until they fix a federal recall on it. Sounds easy enough, but the dealer needs the new part to replace the old one. The only problem with that is the factory hasn't sent the new part out yet. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this week. So any thinks that they might want to go I should know something by Wed.

Mike,

I ever so politely invited the lady to pack sand because she waited until a week before the shoot to call in the first place. Then she waits until 3 days before the shoot to tell me that I was weight challenged and THEN waited until 4 hours before the shoot to call and say "even though you're too 'husky', We have no one else and now we will let you come be in our cool movie" when it would take me a half hour to load the trailer and Grizzly, an hour and a half (or better) to get to the shoot site. I also had no babysitter for my lovely children, and wahhhhhh, I wanted to not be uninvited in the first place.

Had circumstances been better, I would have really loved to be there with you guys because I always thought I'd be a great Hollywood stunt man.

Jason "OK, I said it, I'm tender" Brinker

So what did you guys do for/in this movie. I have been an extra in a few films and it was kind of boring. The exciting part is watching the movie and trying to see yourself. You can see me in Pearl Harbor for about a half a second.

Posted by: Bobman

Kevin,

The COAC guys played evil dooer's who chased and corraled the film's protagonists. I am not sure if Matt had a line or not. I was a back a little too far to see exactly who said what. It was a night shoot, it was cold, there was a misting rain and even though the conditions were bad it was interesting to watch the way the ligting worked.

Bob "Don't worry Jason I still have that 45 minute video of you and that one guy, remember... the one you told me not to talk about" Bobman

Somebody (other than me, and I'm not mentioning names because I'm already in trouble with the teutonic enclaves) got to carry a gun, a camera, and a stuntman on the front of his quad...Dumping all three with great ceremony for the camera. BR>
Then they just had all of us come at the camera from radial positions around the center of action.

Then I got to do several runs straight at the camera, stopping as close as possible without hitting it. Scared the crap out of the cameraman at least once (I stopped with the front tire about an inch from the lens). I was on Bob's quad, so I wasn't quite comfortable with the whole "slide up to the camera" thing.

Oh, then Aaron did this whole Teenwolf quad surfing thing, buck naked with a bucket of pickles, a buffalo wig, and a 9 iron, while singing "I Believe in Miracles" and gyrating like Elvis on meth, standing on top of Matt's shoulders (he had a toga on). That was truly a sight to behold.

OK, maybe that last part was me after I got home...But you get the idea.

I doubt that you'll be able to see any of our faces, as just about every shot they did either had us backlit something fierce, or the headlights would obscure anything behind them.

Oh well...You can see my finer acting points in "The Rookie" anyway.

Posted by: Heywood

I didn't waste my time.

Even my family edited me out of our home movies.

I knew I didn't stand a chance with a bunch of strangers.

That one that was made out in that pasture in an old barn...where that one guy kept saying, "Not all white meat tastes like chicken"...I remember it so well because I kept lauging at how funny that line was and all of that stuff.

I am most likely not going to go to Little Sahara. I have a ton of stuff to do around here and what should be a 15 minute install of some hardware has turned into a 9 hour ordeal with no end in sight... By the way anyone ever had trouble loading a PCMCIA wireless card into a Dell Inspiron???

Mike,

I still plan to be over at your place at like 8:30 to get my ride...please call me if there is a change of plans and leave a message. or just post here I will check before I leave.

I saw the previous post, but am still having a hard time remembering if I have ever seen a buffalo wig. Will I be able to see it in "The Hunt"? I was kind of hoping that someone can describe what a buffalo wig looks like. Is it from the mane area of the buffalo or from like his arse? Is it long or short buffalo hair used to make the wig, or is it just a saying like buffalo wings? (you do realize that buffalo's really don't have wings, right?)
Or even better... Do you have a picture you could send to me?

Jason "Buffalo Wig.. What the hell does a buffalo wig look like" Brinker

It's the ass hair from an albino midget buffalo from Zanzibar.

So, it's white.

Or more like a dirty white....Tan thing after Aaron got a hold of it.

I just got my King Quad out of the shop last week, my motor was replaced due to reverse gear failure. I only have 4 hours on the new engine. Have to get it broke in so I can get my initial out of the way. I will be leaving for Murray earlier. Anyone see a guy with a Ugly Green 2005 King Quad, little yellow GPS on the rack, will be me. Be riding alone since I don't know anyone in the OKC area. People I normally ride with are in SW Oklahoma and are getting ready for the Mangum Rattle Snake hunt the last weekend of April. Be great to have some more people to ride with.

Hope to see you guys out there.

I was also wondering if someone would mind giving me directions to the riding spot. I normally waverun at Murray in the summer, so don't exactly know how to get to the trails from land.

Thanks

Mike =-)

SK
Go east on Hwy 70 in Ardmore, about 3 miles. I think it is exit 24.
There is a convience store on the right. Turn there.
The park is about a 1/4 of a mile from there.

Posted by: HavinSomeFun

It is the second store, then turn right. The first store is very easy to see. The 2nd one kind of sneeks up on you. When you turn right it curves around and you will go maybe 1/2 mile and the riding area is on the left.

A small group is riding in Purcell on Sunday if you are interested.

Posted by: TheSuzukiKing

Purcell is fun. What time are you guys gonna be out there. I have two of my friends twisting my arm to get the street bike out. Saturday is Murray and if I have not had enough fun and need more, I'll be at Purcell. =-) Only thing I worry about Purcell is the monster trucks, would suck to get creamed. Everyone out there is always nice.

I ride with a friend in SW Oklahoma that has Brute Force, AWESOME machine. What color is yours?

Posted by: HavinSomeFun

Mine is Red. I am in the middle of setting up the way I want. Getting close.

Posted by: TheSuzukiKing

What time are you guys headed to Purcell Sunday, if things work out the way I want them too? Not hard to spot as my truck broke last summer, fixed and traded it, be pulling my quad with a golden Toyota Corolla. Does a great job and great gas mileage. If I get stuck or car breaks down, I can always pull the quad off the trailer and pull me out or tow me home!!!

Be cool to get a roof rack and just drive the king on top and strap it down. Or maybe put the Corrolla on the trailer, pull with the King, whichever.

Hope to see you guys out there. Hopefully get the 6 hours in tomorrow be able to pull full throttle again. =-)

I would love to post a pic of the buffalo wig but I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement, I can't even believe you would mention it!

As most of you know, "Little River Trails" have been temporarily closed to public access for purposes of "doing business". However, that doesn't mean that we can't bring in friends and family to ride our trails. As long as we don't charge anyone for the use of our park, we can bring in anyone we want.

So, Dave and I would like to invite ALL you guys to come and spend the day riding our property. As I mentioned, there'll be no charge and you can ride until your hearts content.

Our property offers the following riding experiences;
a) a watery marsh to splash around in and even race your buddies in
b) dry, easy riding trails for those who like to just motor around or go fast and test their skills
c) sloppy, muddy trails for those who like to get down and dirty
d) SAND BARS on the river for those who like to play in the sand box
e) Little River to get wet in or just explore how deep their quad can go

We just want everyone to have a place to ride and have a good time. And since Dave and I regard you guys as our friends, we want to share what we have with you. If you guys will let us know when would be a good day for a ride at our place, we'll make it happen.

If this is something you would like to pursue, please post here and let me know.

James

I had my GPS on all day, any one interested in that map data, let me know. I can send JPG picture or if you have Map Source, I can send the raw GPS Mapsource data file. We tried to hit all the trails, but there a lot. (those not familiar with GPS, It made a map of the trails, everywhere we went.)

Gordon, feel free to private messge me, I'll give ya my e-mail or you can give me yours. Send you that file.

What a day. speechless. Looking forward to Purcell tomorrow, I'm planning on going out there a little earlier, piddle around till everyone gets there.

Maybe all mankind will eventually have to take a testosterone hit and we will all eventually be pulling our quads with a Toyota Corrolla. The 240 mile round trip cost me $15 in gas. 7.7 gallons. 31 Miles per gallon pulling a 600 Lb quad. Not bad. Quad only used 1.3 gallons. Seems to be a inexpensive new hobbie.

Believe me I get looks. When I parked yesterday next to about 10 ATV dudes all laughing at my rig. Didn't phase me at all. I get all the testosterone out of my toys. So makes up for it. My quad on the trailer looks bigger than the car pulling it.

Being this is 04-03-05 and after an awesome day in Purcell. On trip home got made fun of again by a couple kids in a gas guzzler. =-) Find some cardboard and disguise my car like a mini Hum-V or a Giant Quad. Hehe. No problem. As far as I have been dragging that quad everyweekend, awesome. If the quad was not hooked up at all, of course no one pays attension.

Again, I met a great bunch of people, look forward to riding again soon. We all had a great time.

Thanks.

We're looking at Saturday, April 30th for a ride at Little River Trails.

We will possibly have a huge portable smoker for everyone to use. Be sure to bring your own food, drinks and ice chests. If we do get the smoker, it'll be available for everyone to use. I'll let you know if we get it once we get closer to the ride date.

We will leave from the Homeland parking lot in Seminole at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Homeland is located at 1701 N. Milt Phillips Ave. (Hwy 99).
If you need to pick up supplies from Homeland, you'll want to come a little early so you can be ready to leave at 10:00.

We'll all truck in together and the gates will be locked behind us, so be sure to not forget anything.

This ride is open to all COAC members and anyone else who wants to come ride for the day. There will be no charge for this ride.

If you need further information, you can contact me at 405-245-3553 or by private message.

James

Jason,
I can't find your cell number. Would you email it to me please?

Don't forget the ATV Jamboree in Wyandotte, OK on April 15-17. We went up yesterday to the site and they have a great facility. The mud pit was awesome...it has an obstacle course in it...but I didn't venture into it...looked rough. I took my Grizzly through the straight part and had fun!

They will be having 100 ft drags, barrell races, pole races, etc. The trails will be open on Friday and Sunday. Saturday will be the competition. The D Day grounds are awesome...all the military vehicles around...

Anyways, if you need information, holler at Dawn racechick73@yahoo.com or rebeloutlaws1@yahoo.com. Our forum has information on it... http://rebeloutlaws04.proboards31.com. P.S. On this forum, it's under Club Events and News...

I got a question that for you guys that know something about ATV's.

Most of you know that I have a 2003 Predator which doesn't have reverse. The 2005 models have come out, and they do have reverse. How hard would it be to get a transmission and various other parts off a 2005(or from dealer) and make mine have reverse. I haved searched the web for a while, and I guess no one has asked this question yet. Any input will be very helpful. Thanks.

I took the bike out to Prague last night, mainly just for something to do. I read the ATV instructions, weren't very clear. I looked around for the Ranger's Station. Where is that at?

Only confusing part instructions, talks about placing recipt in windshield, then it talks about stub in envelope and that the ranger is going to match recipts with tickets in windshield?? I am assuming she'll fill me in when I find the ranger station.

Looks like a very nice place to ride.

Weather wise, I caught on channel 25 how Saturday night the weather would hit the pan handle. Then Sunday Evening go through the rest of the state. I hope that's the way it works??

Yea I know you're busy Jason. I was just razzin' ya a little. But you really did miss a great ride today. Hope you can make the next one.

We went to meet GrizzlyGreg at Prague Lake but he was running a little late. We "did" manage to hook up with Mike (SuzukiKing) and hung out with him all day. We kept a look-out for Greg, figuring we would bump into him sooner or later, but we seemed to be at the opposite end of the trails all day. Only when we went to pack up and leave for the day did we finally run into him. So, we made plans to hook up another time. And are looking forward to it.

We had two 2-wheel drive quads with us today and spent some time pulling them thru the mud or up some of the steeper hills. One of those quads lost their brakes near the end of the day so we had to tie onto them from behind going down some of the steeper hills so's they wouldn't end up as road kill at the bottom (we were near the back of the trails where they get pretty treacherous). But it was fun and we had some great laughs and a heck-of-a-good time. Wish some of you other guys could have made it. But, like Mike said, we've got all summer to do this again. :0)

Kevin, I went and rode a little out off of I40 and Council on the trails and down on the river a bit. !
There are quite a few trails there and its close for a quick afternoon ride.

Arron, I bought a house and moved a few miles from there. Where did you park? Go through the sand plant? or CMI?

    Posted by: bearaf

Kevin, Actually I hadn't been there since that time you took me. We drove around for a little bit trying to find a way down to the river, but we were short for time so we parked at those apt's where i parked before. We found that you can take that road by CMI and get down there. Some people there said not to go through the sand plant because a lady that lives near there will call the police. We made it to the waterfall area but didn't go past. We just rode the trails between tenth and there.

It really looked like there had been alot of riding from the apt's on tenth, it was really easy to find our way.

    Brent

    Posted by: TheSuzukiKing

If you tent camp, no big deal, just plop it down where you can find a space, the ranger will come around, take funds, give you tape to put your recipt on the side of the tent. Hopefully other ATV club members won't mind me plopping my tent down somewhere on their site. If space gets scares. If I get a spot first I'll share my site. I don't snore too loudly. =-) At least that I've ever heard.

I may actually take that Friday off, get an early start. =-)

Mike, We will try to get as many tents in a site as we can. I plan to be at Murray at or around 9:30 am on saturday. I didnt drive through the campsite area but it looks fairly large so we shouldnt have too much of a problem camping together.

I think we should have a new rule... Anyone posting 1000 times should buy the beer.
    All in favor, say "Aye".
    All opposed say "no"

The "ayes" have it, motion carried.
    Gordon" don't drink anyway"Settle

"Aye" Hey that just put me that much closer to 1000, How about that.

Hmmm, 1000 and buying the beer, I need to re-think this. Wonder how I can skip 1000 and go straight to 1001??? I guess I have about 3 years to figure that out.

I am planning on going to Murray on the 23rd. I have to work for a couple of hours Saturday morning and then heading down. I should be there by around 11:00 AM. I may not camp, not sure yet. My folks have a place over at Texoma I may go stay at.

    Loaners??? Anyone? Loaner Please????

We should have an adequate number of quads so that everyone will have something to ride. I noticed Brent and Aaron will be bringing their wives. Now I was wondering...since I don't have a wife can anyone spare or provide me with a loaner? I promise to be nice.

    Brent,
Right now I am planning on camping. My son is supposed to be at the grandparents that weekend so far. If anything changes I'll bring him, but it's not likely.

Dave and I are trying to make Lake Murray on the 23rd & 24th. May even bring the wives. John (who rode with us at Prague last Saturday) is planning on going down there on TUESDAY the 19th and make a whole week of it. That guy just bought his ATVs recently and he's LOVIN' it.
Some of you guys may remember John. He's the Lake Ranger at Sportsman Lake that came with us the first time we met with COAC at Purcell. John's alot of fun - you guys will like him.

As for this weekend - no plans yet. Still waiting to see what happens between now and then.

I plan on riding somewhere, haven't decided yet. Watching the weather. I have 15 hours on the replacement engine, I was considering taking it in, just to get my initial out of the way.

Quads going in for initial. I guess it depends whether it's ready or not what I'm doing this weekend.

Since my tent goes on the back of my truck, using the bed of the truck as the tent floor...I'm saving space, and there should be plenty of room on my site.

    That is....If I go.

Hey guys, when i first found this site there was a guy on here that said he had a 250r roller in his backyard that he wanted to get rid of and for the life of me i cannot find the post or remember who he was..... if this gentlemen still wants to get rid of the roller....please email me at okieguy10@yahoo.com and let me know what you'd like to have for it.....Thanks, Chris

    HEY BOBBY!!

All I have in the way of a spare is my 125M 3-wheeler. If you don't get any better offers, I can bring it (if I get IT out of the shop before then - carb problems ).

    James,

So John finally broke down & spent some greenbacks??

    Jason,
Yep, and he got a heck-of-a deal too. And I don't think he's done spending money yet. He's got the "Grizzly 660 fever" now.
I called him earlier and he was leaving the Yamaha dealership. Said he aaaalmost walked out the door with a Grizzly, but knew he could save about $800.00 if he waited and went to Springfield, Mo to buy instead. He's got quad fever REALLY bad. BR>

Quad fever sure gets expensive!!! Ginny caught it, and I'm SOOOO GLAD....

    Uhhhhhh Jason...

    I was wanting a loaner WIFE...not a loaner quad...hahah

Bob "I got the quad" Bobman

    Bob, my good man,

Please accept my deepest, most sincere apologies for the mix-up. I just naturally ass-u-me(d) that you had gotten a new wife over the course of the last few days and needed transportation for her. Being a very, very, very happily married man myself (Missy sometimes reads these ), I just figured that you could not afford a new quad with a new wife. Once again, I have erred and must be punished. I have self imposed a punishment of 35 good wheelies, 22 crazy street stunts, and 58 God Jumps. I will have this pennance finished by the end of the day.

As always, my Honda-Suzuki Dealer has spoiled me rotten again. My QUAD is ready!!!!!!!!!!! Now I just need to know where and what time we are riding this weekend.

    See ya on the trails!!!

Some friends are coming up from Texas and we are meeting them at Lake Murray this Saturday. It will be more of a slow puttin ride then anything. Even at that it is better than sitten at home!

I had a funeral to go to today. On my way this guy almost hit me which made me mad, cause I thought he was just being a jerk. He was high or drunk or something.

Well any who, I witnessed him hit a big huge gigantic light pole, it fell on his truck, he backed up and proceeded to leave the scene. I chased him, chick that was with me called 911 I chased him till police got him, then I had to leave my number as I was gonna be late for the funeral.

He almost hit three other people, one of those being an off duty deputy Sheriff in his silver mustang. Haha, his day was done. I had also flagged down an officer while in pursuite, then chased her to give the info I had on him. Then the officer from the 911 call showed up. 3 police officers ended up at the scene.

Pretty exciting ending to a day.

P.S. This is the Readers Digest Condensed Version by the way. Wanted to spare you all a lot of reading. =-) You get the point.

That had to be the most exciting funeral in the world. Or atleast on the way to one. My day was pretty much the same. But just wait till Murray. I willl be the drunk bastard taking down trees.

I can't believe you guys drink that stuff. Especially you Aaron.

    Beer is NASTY.

I'm ashamed to be associated with you guys.

    Posted by: GrizzlyGreg

While you guys are drinking beer and chasing deer I'll be riding in sunny Moab Utah this week. They don't like when you drink and ride up there, some thing about ( to many cliffs) and no tress to brake your fall. Every one have a good week and I hope to see you guys at Murray on the 23rd if my 4 wheeler makes it back in one piece.

And I was wandering what the date was for the "club ride" at little river trails?
