Since last weekend was such a success, we're hosting another FUN work/ride day at the Little River Trails this weekend.

Last weekend we were fortunate enough to host volunteers who came to the Little River Trails to ride and help trim/layout and RIDE the trail system for our new ORV Park. We trimmed branches for awhile and then we'd ride for awhile. Then we'd trim some more and ride some more. Then, everyone was treated to a free lunch and we started all over again.
We worked and played until it was almost dark, and we had such a great time, we're going to do it all again this Saturday November 13th.

The trails we trimmed and rode were the VERY SAME TRAILS that the OCCRA Vice-President Duane Hill helped lay out last Thursday. And we certainly appreciate Duane for offering up his time and talents to help us get started.

Friends, and new aquaintances, Joe Austin, Kenny Aker, Billy West and Rusty H., as well as others, came down Saturday and helped trim and "work in" (RIDE) the trails. These folks are also much appreciated. This weekend will be much of the same.

If you would like to come to Seminole and see what this new trail system has to offer, simply email us at harmony@okplus.com to let us know you're coming. There is NO charge to participate, we just ask that you pitch in a little and help us get the trails ready for our Grand Opening. In return, you get a free lunch and a place to ride ALL DAY LONG.
We do ask that you email us ahead of time so we'll know how much food to provide - and to give you specific directions.

Sincerely,
James Hale

i remember proposing to my wife. i looked deep into her eyes and said, from my heart, "YOU'RE WHAT?"

i remember the day my son was born. i looked deep into my wife's eyes and said "why does he look so much like the mailman?!"

but most of all, i remember graduating with honors from the Street Kings God Jumper School (and tanning booth).

hey shawna,

why have you been so quiet?

we're headed back your way on the 19th, but we only get to stay for 4 days.

if you get broken loose ... come on down

and what happened to your sister? did we scare her away?

I'm pretty quiet by nature. I like to just sit back and listen If I can, I will come see ya at Cloudy, but I don't know if I'll be able to or not. I don't know where Deana has been...I'll have to call her and ask. Between school, work, and socializing she stays pretty busy. She's only been back here one time since we went riding, I think.

Hey guys sometime early this morning my cousin Chad and his wife Lauren got their 4 wheelers stolen right out of their backyard. Chads is a red and black, with a red seat 2001 400ex with new msr bars and red scott grips on it. It is kinda unique as it looks like it has been hit preety good from the side in the rear end and the whole rear of the frame is bent over about an inch or so to the left. The 300ex is a 2000 model that is yellow and black and is all stock. If any of you guys see anything please either notify me or the canadian county sherrif as they came out and did the investigation on the situation.....Thanks, Chris

Posted by: HavinSomeFun

That is horrible news... I hope they had insurance on there wheelers. It was this time last year when my camo prairie was stolen from my garage in the middle of the night. I didnt have insurance and had to eat the $6,000 loss. Insurance is only $150 a year, I suggest it to everyone now and YES I have it on my replacement Prairie.

hey shawna,

change of plans. tom and i are headed your way in the morning. (monday, 11/15) and we'll be staying a week.

we rode today and had a blast so we came back to get all of our stuff and head back.

sure hope you can get away to come ride.

if you get this in time ... email me a number where you can be reached and when i get up to the phone booth i'll holler at you.

see you in a few ....

HEY EVERYONE! come one come all to Prague Lake this Saturday at noon. I just saw the forcast and it said 58 degrees and only partly cloudy. OMG no rain it is amazing, should have plenty of mud and nice weather. Let me know what u all think.......

Posted by: Jamesh921

Chris,
We sure hate to hear about your brother's loss of his quads. And we hope he gets them back.

Guys,
We've got a major hurdle holding up the opening of the Little River Trails and I'm hoping there's someone out there in the Off-road community that can help us out.
We need to haul in and spread rock over about a mile of road. The rock is not expensive - it's the cost of hauling it that costs so much.

So, we need a dump truck (10 wheeler or 18 wheeler) so we can haul the rock ourselves. Or, we need someone who owns a truck that would be willing to haul the rock for us at a considerably lower price.
We can't open the trails until the road is rocked, so if you know someone who could help us out, we'd certainly appreciate it.
I can be reached at harmony@okplus.com or 405-245-3553.

Sincerely,
James

Well its that time of year again where we slow down on the rides and let Mike and Aaron heal up . I hope to get in a few rides this winter on the warmer days.

Do we want to have a shin-dig for our one year ? Bob has spoke of this in the past, but now is the time to plan one .

I hope everyone stays in touch throughout the winter so we dont loose anyone.

Brent,

I would be down for it some Friday or Saturday night. We can have it at the Spoke...gee the place where it all began..haha...Saturday night usually works best for me and Keith said the guy at the Broken Spoke says that Satudays are the best for us as he is usually less crowded on Saturday than he is is Friday. So...who all is up for a "Dinner Meeting"??????????????????

Bob "This could be fun" Bobman

Posted by: 400extream

I would love to go riding, but some lazy jackass decided that he needed my quads more than i did. Just a warning guys LOCK your rides up tight. I mean 500ft of chain, an alarm, and 2 monkeys with machine guns. The jackass walked right in my locked gate like it was nothing and roll my quads to the road while i lay in bed dreaming of riding. Canadian county sherriff says that pro's are stealin bikes, just today they found 4 in mclain county from here, but not mine, and arrrested someone in purcell. Guard your gear.

How does Saturday, November 27 sound for a meeting/blow out sound? Does this work for everyone? Anyone? No one? Does the Broken Spoke work for everyone?

Bob "Has anyone heard from Mike" Bobman

That might work for Ginny and I. Where is the Broken Spoke? Is Heywood coming? Are you guys going to ride Saturday or Sunday the 27th or 28th... Also Are any of you going to ride this weekend? David and I will go to Muenster if anyone is interested. We are ALSO planning on riding the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Guys,

As much as I would love to, I cannot make it to The Spoke on that particular Saturday. Please accept my heartfelt apologies, as I don't think anyone will lose any sleep. I would love to be there, but a higher power has me unable to be in two places at once (no, not Missy.. The higher power just below her, my boss). Everyone enjoy & have a few laughs at my expense (I won't mention any names, but it rymes with Gordon) with all the rain, I know it won't be hard to make up water jokes.

Sincerely yours,

I still don't know where the Broken Spoke restaurant is...
Gordon ( can'tryhmeanything)Settle

Posted by: Brink74868

Gordon,
From what I heard, the Spoke is just about a mile or so west of where we shove off. it's on the highway (74? or 77?) that runs north and south through Purcell. I believe it is south of 59 highway.. Someone correct me because i know I screwed something up in my directions.

Jason " it's worth a try" BrinkMan

Posted by: Bobman

Gordon,

Pay no attention to Jason's directions as he knows not of what he speaks. The Broken Spoke is in Lexington. It is is on hiway 39. If you are comgin from the south you go thru purcell as you normally would. Then you would go East on the bridge, over the river and into Lexington. The Broken Spoke is on the North (Left) hand side of the road and has a lot of purple neon on the outside of the building and a big sign that says EAT. I think Conde Naste ALWAYS recommends places that have "EAT" signs out front.

James "I gotta winch and am prepared to use it" Hale

Posted by: Brink74868

James,
When's your partner gonna break down & get a quad? If'n you're gonna have a park for quads, you GOTTA have a quadThat's like opening a pool and not having trunks or wiping before you poop. Tell David I have a friend with a 400 Polaris 4X4 he never rides and has been garage kept for the last couple of years he will let go for around $2500 or so.

As far as going to Prague, I have family O'Plenty coming in from outta state, rifle season opens tomorrow, and I have 3 birthday parties this weekend.

Well, Dave and I took Saturday off and went down to Lake Murray to ride. I needed to break in the new Kodiak, plus I had never ridden there before and wanted to see what their trails were like.
Dave rolled the Arctic Cat twice and I did my best impression of Superman as I flew over the handle bars of the Kodiak - two times.
Dave bent the right rear rim on a tree root which deflated the tire and I knocked the left front tire off the rim in a mud-hole.
Since nobody died, you can say it was a successful day. Both quads were easily repaired and we had a heck-of-a-lot of fun - mostly laughing at our own mishaps

Thanksgiving weekend we'll be back at the ol' grindstone out at the Little River Trails. We already have about 10 miles of trails cut, now we only have about 15 or so more to go.

We met with the County Commissioners this morning and it looks like they MAY help us get the road into the Park fixed (Ya'll please pray that they'll help us).

Well, that's my story for the weekend - what'd everyone else do?

I just got off the phone with the 2005 President of OCCRA (Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association). He and a couple other OCCRA members are coming down friday to take a look at our Park. If they're pleased with the trail system we're building, they may hold one of their race events here.
This would be GREAT exposure for our Park. Cross your fingers.

Did I mention that the quad is new. He traded up for a 450 Kodiak. I am so impressed with it, I may get one after Christmas. this trip, David NEVER went to 4 wheel drive, much less 4 wheel locked.

Speaking of does, I almost got a whole flock (herd) of them critters a little bit ago. Was returning from the county jail and had a whole tassel of them run in front of me. I almost got a new patrol car, but my cat-like reflexes kicked in and I braked.

As for being thankful, I am TRULY grateful for having a healthy family, a free country, knowing (some of) you guys, and last but not least, the Street Kings.

Brent,

Are you still going to LS on Saturday? I would run up there for the day if I can get the boys out of the woods. They have "Big Boy" spotted and that is all they can think about. They left for the woods about and hour and a half ago. Seems he has them spotted also. He stays just out of range and they don't want to chance not finding him. They change stands and he changes paths. I think he is laughing at them.

If we go up we are only taking the quads. Not long enough stay to drag out the rail. It's warmer on the quads anyway.

I have to gp check on the smoker. I put a home grown ham and two turkeys in the smoker at 5:00am

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

OkieRider,

We had a good ride saturday. We got to the campgrounds about 9 am . We rode most all day off and on . I looked for you , but i swear there were 20 honda 3 wheelers . But we had a good ride. Im just very sore from the rough sand.

Bob , how did the meeting go ?

Brent

Posted by: okieRrider

Hey Brent....yes I am very sore also....lol and suprisingly there were a bunch of trikes there....maybe we can catch up on another run in the spring......Chris

Posted by: Bobman

Brent,

Well the meeting had some pretty small numbers but it was a VERY productive meeting. We got to meet two of the newest members Gary and Barbie and their children (Sorry Gary & Barbie..The children's names escape me). Michael showed up. I dont think Mike has missed a meeting yet. He has not be able to come to a couple of the rides but he has not missed many meetings (if any) and I TRULY appreciate that Mike.

Gary is going to be taking over the web site soon as he is MUCH more qualified than myself. so in the future we can look forward to a REAL web site instread of that crap I hack out. Mike will also be helping Gary as they are far more technically oriented than I am. I really think that between Gary, Mike and what little bit I can contribute we could soon have a really great web site.

THAT BEING SAID.....

IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS THEY WANT TO CONTIRBUTE REGARDING THE WEB PAGE PLEASE SEND THEM TO ME VIA E-MAIL. I AM GOING TO START TRYING TO ORGANIZE MATERIALS TO SEND OVER TO GARY. SO PLEASE...AS ALWAYS YOUR INPUT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Bob

Charlie,

It's good to have you back this side of the Rockies again. Please give our regrds to Chuck and tell him to pop on the forum and see us every now and then.

When you head back out that way, or you possibly already know, find out if there is ANY part of Monument Valley where you can ride ATV's. I would drive all the way out there if I could ride Monument Valley or any similar terrain. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I killed an itty bitty tender young doe, oh excuse me, the check-in station classified it as a fawn. It's actually rather embarassing It will come out in the paper "Shawna Bingham, 35 lb fawn". Oh well, it will be tender to eat I guess. I'm not going to be able to go next Sunday (last doe day), so I was mostly just filling my doe tag. It was a terrible day for hunting. The wind was blowing something fierce...(excuses, excuses) Anyway, I've got three more days to hunt to fill my buck tag. maybe that will go better, although so far I have seen zero bucks...Maybe next year we can get together to hunt does.

Bob,

Still here, Holidays are hell, driving, driving driving!! Yes I'm a teacher and had several days off, but the only day I was at home was Sunday and the wife had me decorating! I've been doing alot of traveling back to Enid, my dad was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and it has already spread to his liver. He started chemo yesterday and feels good so far.

My computer died so I had to get a new one and I'm not completely switched over yet. Just set email up tonight.

I'm sorry I missed Saturday, I'll try not to miss anymore meetings.

Hope to get some riding done soon!!!

Ok guys.. Lets get serious about this weekend (Dec 3and 4) Where are you guys going to ride? Anyone up for Lake Murray? Dave and I have ridden Muenster the last two weekends. The Red River is STILL bank to bank, so it cuts down on some trails. Let us know where you guys are going.
Gordon

Andy,
I won't have anything new to report on the road until next week, but thanks for asking. As soon as I know something, I'll let everyone know.

Gordon,
We have a meeting tomorrow that will dictate whether this saturday will be open for us or not. If everything goes "well" (which I'll explain later), we are talking about going to Lake Murray on Saturday. PRAY that things will go as we desire, because if it does........ well, I can't talk about it yet. Just PRAY!!!

If everythings "does" go as we hope, what time are you and Ginny planning on being at Lake Murray?

To all the guys going to Prague this weekend,
We rode there last Friday and TODAY as well. Since we're so close to Prague, we can ride there just about anytime we want, so please don't take offense if we choose to go to Lake Murray this weekend.

James

Posted by: gsettle081

If it is only David and myself, we will be there about 9 or 9:30. If Ginny goes, it might be 11 AM. I don't think she is going but will not know until Friday when she decides how much shopping she needs to do.
We are planning to come up to your place SOON. I think that will be fun.

Hey Gordon,

Where is the riding area at Lake Murray? Is it on the north side of the lake?

If you guys go to Prague lake, will it be Saturday or Sunday and what time?

Posted by: gsettle081

It is on the North East side of the lake. I can't remember if it is exit 54 or 74. I will know it when I see it. I think we will go Saturday. Should be there about 9AM.
call me and we can hook up! 214-734-8664, or David cell is 214-325-5333. Maybe one of the cell phones will get service in Oklahoma!!

I think we all like to play poker... Problem is you guys are 150 miles away. It would be hard to get together and play UNLESS we were going to ride and spend the night. It would be a lot of fun if we could figure out the logistics.

On a different note... the Red River is still bank to bank, but receeding. Lake Murray was a blast. We rode yesterday for about 7 hours. Good easy trails. I only got stuck twice. David NOT stuck at all.
What did you guys do yesterday?

Posted by: Bobman

Let's all get together and play some LOW stakes....

nickle ante, 25 max raise 3 bump max ?????

That work for you guys?? Pots could get as high as $4

Probably would be best turnout if we wait until AFTER New Year's because so many people have so many different holiday plans etc.

HOLY CRUD! never select an emotion then use ur wheel on the mouse to scroll down on the page or u will become quite emotional as u can see from my previous post.

Posted by: Bobman

Brent...When it comes to poker all you need to remember is

Bluffing works EVERYTIME no matter how bad your hand is.
You never fold no matter what you have in your hand
You call every other hand and raise on the ones in between
NEVER worry about losing all your cash as it can always be won back on the VERY NEXT HAND
The more you drink the LUCKIER you become

I hope these tips help you out

Bob

Posted by: gsettle081

Pardon my suggestion that something is amiss... BUT wasn't Brent a finalist in Shreveport last August at the World Poker Tour prelim event???? YOU guys had better watch out!! I smell something fishy.

Posted by: Bobman

In all seriousness...would you all like to get together and have a VERY LOW STAKES game??? I would be willing to take off work for this baby. It wouldn't be the first time I have ditched work in favor of gambling...Oh did I say that outloud???

I do not have the space to "host" the event. I wish I could but logistically it is not possible right now.
I MAY be able to provide the poker chips (not the crappy cheap ones you buy at the store either).
So if you guys want to play let me know...I am going to see if my friend will let me have it at his bar (We have to check the legal loopholes here) all he would ask is that you bought your beer from here if he approves.

Bob

Posted by: Brink74868

Bob my good man,

If your buddy hosts "poker night" in a bar, I hope the doors are closed to the general public. As it is illegal to gamble in Oklahoma (unless the state gets its cut), it is more illegal to gamble in an establishment that serves alcohol (if that's possible). According to title 37 of Oklahoma law (aka "ABLE LAWS") a licensee "bar owner" can lose their license to sell alcohol if gambling and/or other acts of moral turpitude occour in their establishment. The only way to get around it would be to close the doors to the general public for a "private party" during non-open hours

Posted by: Brink74868

Oops, I wasn't ready to submit yet.. Continued from last post-----> \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/

The only way to get around it would be to close the doors to the general public for a "private party" during non-open hours (early in the morning, etc.) which would suck. We can surely find someplace that won't screw over someone's day or livelyhood. I know a lady that owns a coffee shop in Seminole that has been throwing the idea around of opening up late for us on occasion & has several large tables.. Just an idea.

I think all he has to do is say that we are not playing for money...and since we would be using chips we could claim it was a tournament just for entertainment purposes.

So, where did everyone go this past weekend. I know Gordon went to Lake Murray and had a great time. BTW Gordon, sorry I didn't make it down there to hang out with you guys. I really wanted to be there but you know how stuff keeps you from doing what you REALLY want to do.
Instead, I spent a few hours at Prague Lake on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. I didn't see anyone from this forum there though. Did I miss you guys or were you not able to make it?
(Side note) If you find a Nokia 2260 cell phone on the Prague Lake trails - it's mine. I lost it on Sunday. Went back today to try and find it but had no luck. After the rains we had Monday night, I figure it's worth about thirty-seven cents now. I'll give you a half-dollar if you find and return it so I can throw it against the wall. I need revenge for committing desertion.

Jason is welcome to bring his quadsubmarine too!! We have winches and life preservers BR>
Outlaw18,
I don't know what my plans for Saturday will be yet, but it may be possible that I could make the trip to Prague and hook up with you guys. No promises - but I'm hopeful. Plus, it sure would be nice if you and your crew could make it down to Seminole on Sunday.

PIRATEBOB,
C'mon down and ride anytime. You don't have to be afraid me. I'm not THAT scarry.

Gordon,
C'mon up and bring your friend and his new tires with you. We'll test 'em out on the river and in our WATERY MARSH!! The water goes as deep as he wants to go - and the sand and mud I'm sure he'll enjoy too.

To everyone else,
I'm extending an open invitation to anyone and everyone who wants to ride this Sunday in Seminole.

Let me know if you're coming and how many are in your group and we'll supply the lunch.

PS C'mon Bob,

Prague was sweet yesterday. more mud and water than i have ever seen! On a side note my wife had her first 4 wheeling experience, and she had a good time when riding by herself, but when i was driving (we only brought out 1 quad) she was a little scared! About 30 minutes into our ride i got us stuck in a deep mud/water hole the whole quad was about to tip over so she wanted off, well she got off and sank about a foot in the mud and had water up to her waist. LOL by the way it was still pretty cold as in there was ice in the mud holes still. But she was a trooper and we rode for another 1.5 hours. Several times on our journey when we got to a big mud hole i got off and let her give it hell, and she did quite a nice job if I do say so myself. So the moral to my story is look for my wife on all future rides.

Ps. i took out our camcorder and it did not survive the trip. so a word to the wise dont leave ur camera where it can bounce around alot cause it might die. LOL

Gordon,

The "Dew Drop Inn" is (or was) a sleazy bar in town. I can find you better accomidations than that. You guys could probably bunk with the family while I protect the good citizens of Prague. After a couple (2 or 3) hours of sleep, or when Ginny gets up & has coffee, We can "ride, Boley ride".

That sound great. I was just kidding about the Dew Drop Inn. I had no idea there was such a place in Seminole. Let's plan on this ride/party/poker game/ etc.

Oh by the way, Jason thanks for the picture. I knew that gymnist in another life.

Dave and I had a blast hanging out with Brent, Ronnie and crew on Sunday. Melissa and her Hubby took some pictures. I gave them the addy to this website, so hopefully they'll find there way here and post them.

A Polar Bear ride on New Year's Day sounds great. I'll talk to Dave and see if we can work it out. Bonfire, burgers and beer sounds like a great way to start the new year. And if the rain will ease up, we can ride Little River.

Seminole does have a motel with a lounge. It's called the "Oxford Inn" and I believe their rates are around $50 bucks per night. It even has a swimming pool for those who "really" want to get into the Polar Bear spirit. It is located at 2323 Boren Blvd in Seminole and the phone number is 405-382-6800.

I think it would be a blast if we all got together for a New Year's party.

I have to work new year's day too bad for me i would like to go for a ride but maybe next year huh?

A little off topic...well okay a lot off topic but this deserves a read anyway.

My employer, good old Convergys Corporaton of Ohio, has decided that tomorrow will be the day of our annual "Festival of Diversity" party. We can not have a Christmas party, or even a "Holiday" party because that implies Christmas...so we will be having the "Festival of Diversity" office party tomorrow.

We all know that Halloween has orange and black for its colors (as does the PREMIERE univeristy in the state), and Christmas has red and green as its officially designated hues, I am guessing they are Mauve and Chartreuse but I have no official clarification on this issue.

So I just thought I would let you all know that tomorrow is officially"Festival of Diversity Day"...I am sure Hallmark has several aisles devoted to this special day..so finding a card for your friends and loved one should be easy. I mean it is such a widely celebrated holiday. Hahha.

Bob "What should I get my mom for Festival of Diversity Day?" Bobman

well bob, if you lived in arkansas, choosing a gift for your mom or sister would be simple. you just cant go wrong with lingerie. but check with your dad to make sure he isnt getting your sister the same thing. boy ! would that be a 'festival of diversity day' no-no.

but here oklahoma, you may have to pony up something that actually required thought. like a nice gift certificate.

James

PS C'mon Bob,
You can do all that crap later. Sunday should be YOUR/OUR day. Besides, no one has fun unless you're there. On top of that, it's YOUR turn to buy the beer!!! hr>

Hey James,

Do not let Gordon fool you with those tires. They are nice but they do not float. The driver has some to do with it. I have Gordon fooled again.

Are we going to meet at James' Store? I should be in Seminole about 10:00 Saturday January 1,2005. Let us know. I am looking forward to it. I will return Saturday night, so you guys don't have to put us up or find a hotel. May David will come, if he does not get a better offer.

Posted by: Jamesh921

Meeting at my store would be fine.

The name of my store is "Harmony Carpet & Flooring" and is located at 108 E. Broadway in Seminole. It is just east of the intersection of Hwy 99 and Hwy 270 on the north side of the street.
In Seminole, this intersection is also known as Broadway & Milt Phillips Ave.

If you guys want to meet there at 10:00 a.m. that works for me. I'll just have to scale back on my New Year's celebrating a little.

Does this work for everyone?

James

Posted by: Bobman

Wait...let me make sure I have this right....there are places where one can work (and remain employed) and they do not make you work on holidays??? Wow...I need a job like that. Hahahahahaha. I would be there but the boss says I have to stay and work on New Years Day so I guess I should comply.

Man o man 10am seems a little early for the day after new years eve, or mabey i am wrong. but i plan to be drinking untill at least 12.00 and heavy on the "at least"

Andy "Bob u should tell the man where to stick it" Bradfield

Posted by: Brink74868

After last Saturday, I have swore off of the drinking thing forever. OK, probably not completely quit drinking anything at all or anything like that, but I now have that 30something new limit. I have found my thresh hold and do hereby promise to never ever cross that line (or even get remotely close to it) again. Enough said about alcohol and it's demons..... Ladies and Gentlemen............ LLLLLlllllleeettttssssss get rrreeaadddddyyyyyy tttoooo rrrrrruuuuummmmmbbbbbbbllllleeeeeeeee. As it stands right now, I will more than likely be there. If the weather is anywhere near favorable, Missy will join us. If the trails look reasonably easy, We may even bring the kiddo's for awhile..

P.S. 10:00 does sound a bit early, since bedtime this particular day looks to be 0600. Maybe some of us late bloomers (closer to noon) can send up smoke signals. James, how's phone reception there?

Jason "yes, I DO always have to be a little different" Brinker

OK, I must agree that 10:00 a.m. is a little early for the day after New Year's Eve - that's why I asked for your opinions.

So, since we all want to get the most out of our day (and the night before), I think that a compromise is in order.

Instead of meeting at 10:00 a.m. we'll meet at 11:00 a.m. at my store (Harmony Carpet 108 E. Broadway in Seminole, Ok).

If you can't be there by 11:00 and want to come ride at a later time, email me directly at harmony@okplus.com so's I can give you specific directions on how to get there.

Jason (and everyone else),
There is absolutely NO CELL SERVICE on our property, so be sure to call if you're going to be late (my cell - 405-245-3553). We'll wait on you if you're running a little behind schedule.

This ride is intended for all of us to gather, hang-out, meet each other and to generally have a good time. We have absolutely NO INTENTIONS of making any money off this ride. This ride is fully intended for our friends to have a place to hang out and have a good time with each other on New Year's Day. With that said, we're asking for a simple $3.00 per person donation to help cover the cost of the food and drinks.

This request for a donation is NOT binding. If you don't want to make a donation, that's OK too - you're still welcome to come, ride and have a great time. We judge NOBODY on whether they make a donation or not. We just want you folks to have fun and enjoy yourselves.

Bob,
I feel for you dude. Making someone work on New Year's Day (who isn't an emergency professional) should be unconstitutional. I hope you can find a better job that will allow you to FIRE YOUR BOSS and give you more flexibility in life.
Does anybody out there have a job for Bob that will allow him free time to ride and make him more money than you do?

See you (hopefully) on the "Polar Bear Ride" on 1-01-05,
James Hale

James
I will kick in money for the hamburgers and drinks. 11AM is good. I will be there as early as I can (probably 10AM since I won't be drinking and staying out late on News Years Eve. I am too old for that. Ginny and I may see the News Years In, but will be asleep shortly after that. WE will be HOME at midnight no matter what. News Years Eve has way tooo many drunks and crazys on the road.
Maybe you can direct me to the park from your store, and I can ride for an hour or so, before the pack gets there. BUT don't get up early on my account. If you are not there until 11AM that is cool. I just don't want you guys to have to wait on me like last time in Antlers.
Maybe Jason will be up by then, and can show me around. Anyway, It will be good to see you guys again. I just wish Ginny would be coming with me.

Jason--why did you change avitars again. What is this? Your old avitar was so appropriate.

Bobman--send your resume to me. I may have some contacts in Oklahoma City that could use your skills, and would let you off for the holidays... At least Fesitval of Diversity Day.

Posted by: Brink74868

James,

Count me in on everything. Sounds like fun. I'll stay with News 9, They'll keep me advised. As for the money, it would be a good deal @ $6.00, but you already quoted.

Gordon,

Call me when you get near & I'll guide you the rest of the way into town. I'll give you the $2.00 tour and then a refund. You may end up dunning me after I'm done.

I will do my best to be there, but you have to remember , I have been known to drink a little toooooo much from time to time . James if im not at your store at 11 . Then i wont be attending at all . I still have mud all over my quad from our last ride at your trails .

Bob , It is time for you to go in a new direction with your job . I say a good direction would be to shove your job up your boss's ASS . My job has to revolve around my family and friends . Here lately you have missed all of your friends .

wut exit do i git off of that dang ol' hiway 40 to get to ur store in seminole James?

Posted by: Bobman

The I-40 exit for Seminole is Exit 200 I believe. Then you go about 12 miles south if I remember correctly. This is the Hiway 99 exit I think.

Bob "I may be right but not sure" Bobman

Posted by: Jamesh921

The Bobman's directions are correct. Take exit 200 and head straight south until you reach Hwy 270 (Broadway street) in Seminole. Make a left and I'm the 2nd building on the left.

Brent,
We found another Beaver dam that was holding alot of that moisture on the trail. Since we busted it last week, it has been draining and drying up very well. There's barely any mud left on that trail now.
Also, since you already know the way to the trails, you can show up later if you want. After all, we'll probably be having a few beers during the day - and I know you wouldn't want to miss out on that. And, you can wash your quad off in the river now. Jason can show you how BR>
Heywood,
Deer-hunting schmeer-hunting / You've got two weeks to do that - there's only ONE Polar Bear Ride on Jan 1st, '05. Drop everything else and come ride with us.

James
