sounds cool to me, the only thing is that I am at college up here in dayton (UD). so dont know if I could really get to a meeting but could if I knew in advace. I am trying to go out to haspin on 3/9 or 3/10 and spend the night and camp, if anyone wants to join, that would be great, the or the better it is.....but for the club we could organize to go other places as a group and be alot more fun!!!

I may go as well Saturday, but is there anyone else with a sport quad going?
Second question...I hear this place doesn't have any real challenging hills or jumps but is mainly a place with a good view. Is that very accurate?
Posted by: DVNT1
Just wanted to let all of you know I had a good time and it was nice meeting everyone!
I hope the remainder of the day went well for everyone!
Did I miss any spectacular crashes or anyone have any particular hardships after I left?

Glad to see that you are taking the bull by the respective horns here. I am just about caught up on things after being out of town for three weeks. I hope everyone has been having a good time while I've been gone. :-) My number is in the book. Give me a call after a short time and I can give you names, email addresses and phone numbers of others who have expressed interest in the club that you may not have on your list. Later, I will love to put more time and effort into organizing this club, but I'm very busy right now. I'll explain later.

Southern Ohio Atv Riders should start getting things going soon. I think we should have a meeting in the next few weeks to "pick each others brains" to see what we need to organized and get the club going. I think we are starting to find some people that would help the club take off. I got friends on this end that are interested, and I know between, Truck, RubiconBob, Reconman, trx450, 4-MAN-S, scrufy179, Crawdad, myself(JohnnyBravo), and anybody else interested we can get things going. We some good people that will make a great group of friends. What does every else think?
Posted by: JohnnyBravo
Where would people like to meet, for a "non" riding meeting? We need to try to pick somewhere that is good for everyone. I'm game for anywhere. I live in Maineville (between Kings Island & Loveland) and my shop is located in Sharonville right off of I275 between I75 & I71. What about when? I think a Friday or Saturday evening would be good maybe 2nd week of March? Give your opinions.
Posted by: JohnnyBravo
Saturday is preferred by me also. What we need to do is get a map, mark where everybody is from, and try to find a place that is approx. equal distance to everyone. I don't care to drive a little farther though. It's going to be a great year!:)

I wanna get everybodys information, members alreay and one's that want to be. Information should be [blue]Name, address, phone #, type/make of ATV, main email address, ATV Connection user name and if you want send a photograph.[/blue] I'm going to start compiling the info to start the website for the club. Any suggestions are welcomed. Send your info to my email at johnnybravo@urbanracer.com
Talking to everyone soon.
Posted by: JohnnyBravo
Lee, hey great to see your back in town. We've been trying feel everyone out to see what the club situation is going to be like this year. Looks good. I'm more than happy to do anything I can for the club. I'll some club logos for everyone to look at very soon. I've even started talking to some ATV dealers in the region about getting us some club deals on anything we might need. I'm trying to hurry and finish painting my helmet 'cause I'm really starting to get the itch to ride!
Posted by: JohnnyBravo
Meeting for the club. How does the 24th of this month sound? Maybe around 7pm? Location? It's unfair to everyone but me but we are more than welcome to have it at my shop, which is about 3000sq. ft. with plenty of parking or it would be nice for us to get together at a restraunt or something where we could grab a bite to eat, a beer (or soda of course), and shoot the sh!t. As I said before, I'm up for anywhere/anytime. Give your opinions.
Posted by: JohnnyBravo
Hey everyone. I still need everybodies info. If you haven't emailed it, please do. As for the meeting, the 24th okay or not? Time? evening or afternoon? My shop or somewhere else? any place, time good for me.
Posted by: JohnnyBravo
BTW. I started putting together a list for possible and confirmed members. I've got 20 listed. 7 are from this forum, the other 13 are friends, aquintances, and family I know with ATV's. A few don't get to ride much, but will be great fun when they do.
I'm so stoked about this year, can't wait to ride with everyone!:)

Hey Rubiconbob. You've got mail.
Yes, I would like to ride at Big Rock that morning/afternoon too. Weather permitting.
Posted by: JohnnyBravo
I've gotten info from some people, but I know a few of you out there haven't sent the info.
It looks like we are going to have the meeting on Mar. 24 at 7pm at my shop in Sharonville. The meeting will be a chance to express some opinions, give some ideals, plan some future on takings. After the meeting if anybody wants, we can go grab a bite to eat or something at an local establishment. For directions to my shop, email me at johnnybravo@urbanracer.com or for any other questions.
If you are interested in the ride at Big Rock that morning, let RubiconBob know.
Thanks

Looks like I'm going to have to postpone the meeting for a week or two. I've got things I have to do that evening that I can't get out of. I will still be able to attend a ride at Big Rock that afternoon, if everybody wants to have a semi meeting there would be great. When it gets a little closer, post what time every one is going to be at Big Rock.

Bob,
I should be there around 9 also. I probably will be by myself but may not be. If the weather is going to be real rainy, I probably won't go.
Does anybody have a XL or XXL helmet I can borrow Sat.? I doubt I'll have mine painted by then. Let me know, thanks.
Posted by: JohnnyBravo
Great! Looks like we are going to have a crowd! The more the marrier!
Anybody talk to Reconman (Lee)? I wander if he is going to make it? I'll email him tomorrow in case he doesn't know.
Nick is trying to borrow a buddies quad, so we may have Mr. Wildman himself there.:)
Truck and Rubiconbob,
Bring both helmets, in case my fat head is too big for one. Bob, open face is fine. I don't plan on getting too nutty Sat. It will be my first real ride since my mishap. Should be interesting.
Big Rock, here we come!!

DVNT1,
I have a 400ex. So, at least one sport quad going. All the guys love to pull me out of the muck.:D There are some good hill climbs, some creek crossings, great woods. They just don't have a motorcross track yet. Great places to open the quad up though with some pinning of the throttle. The park has only been open for two years, I think. They let you make trails wherever you want. There is usually a good crowd, but you don't notice on 2000 acres.:)

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know I posted some pictures from the ride at that other website under ATV clubs. Hope you get to check them out.
Posted by: RubiconBob
4-Man-S and I are probably the farthest north members(?), but I know I could make the drive (and bring Mike with me). Also, add my wife (TBossMama), as where ever I go, she's usually there, too (except in the men's room). I'd prefer a Saturday, as a Friday might be tougher for us, with work, plus a 1.5 hour drive to Cinci. Let me know, though, either way.....
Posted by: RubiconBob
Just let me know the date and time, and I'll be there! Your shop sounds fine.
Posted by: RubiconBob
Did you get my info? The 24th is okay for me, but if I'm going to Cincinatti on a Saturday, I'll probably go riding at Big Rock, and stop by at 7pm on my way home. Any interested in doing a ride?
Posted by: RubiconBob
Well, we'll be there all day. Probably get to the parking lot around 9am, find Truck and his group, and then ride till lunch, when we return to the parking lot. After lunch, take another ride, and usually get back to the parking lot around 4-5pm to load up and head home.
JohnnyBravo, what time would you be arriving? I'll be driving my truck, but I'll have David Sink's enclosed trailer. My truck is a F-350 4x4 dually, painted just like Dale Earnhardt's #3 race car (and I even have a big #3 in the rear window), and the enclosed trailer will be a blue V-nose enclosed trailer, with "FORD-DIESEL.COM" on the rear ramp and sides. It will be left wide open, so you can rummage through the goodies till we get back. (Okay, I'm kidding. I just said that to scare the cra* out of David, when he reads it).
Posted by: RubiconBob
I also have an extra helmet, but it is an open face helemt (if that matters). I will try to remember to bring it.....

Hello everyone,
I would like to go riding at Big Rock this weekend too. Does anyone know the best way to get there, or would anyone from Cincy be interested in letting me follow you to Big Rock?
Jeff, I apologize for not replying to your email. I haven't been able to get it to go through. I would like some additional info about the club, though. I guess if I meet everyone Sat. I can get the info then.
Thanks!
Mike S.

Truck, thanks for the directions. I'll let you know if I need to follow you. I think it should be pretty easy to find.
DVNT1, I ride a Banshee, you won't be the only one with a sport quad.
Can't wait to go!
Mike
