I am going to glamis in march and am looking for the closest airport to the dunes if anyone can help thanks in advance!

Well, I might be a little late on this one. Flying Commercial airlines?... you Never know with the $ at Glamis anymore! you could private jet to brawley and helo over in no time. I travel (Commercial) very frequently and I have found your best deal is to arrive at a larger airport like Phoneix, LAX.. perhaps even San Diego (2 1/2) hrs by car. You will generally be punished by flying to a smaller destination airport. But, yes Yuma would be the closest (45 min by car).

yea yumas not commercial. well every once in a while they have a small plane from the bigger companies.
i lived there for a year so i saw it everyday and still made those trips to the dunes every weekend.
i forgot there is one in calexico Ca. check into that it will def. be the closest 30min. to dunes plus time to find camp spot.
