Just how cool is the Pilot? I see them for sale, they look really interesting. How quick & fast are they? Is the Odessy 350 very similar?

Man I always loved and wanted a Pilot! They are a 350 two stroke. Out in the So cal sand dunes (Glamis/Gordons Well/Buttercup) they do great. They are not speed demons by any strech. And I think you can still get great mods for them. Also, I think they have completely held their value and still sell for what the did new... for a clean one anyway.

For you, I think maybe it would be more of a toy or good start for getting into a buggy later. I thought about getting one for the wife, but never did.

i can`t say about the pilot but the 350 is real cool.the pilot is their "top shelf" model of the oddessey.with a 400 motor, better suspention, and body.i`m wanting to say its a 2 stroke?the 350 i rode did about 45 miles an hour so i`d guess the pilot did about 55 to 60.
