Several good replies here.

I also ride the Oregon dunes and on the YFZ I use 20" X 10" X 10" 8 paddle haulers on 10" rims. For me the 10" rims give better side stability and I do a lot of side-hilling.

I don't think I'd go over 8 paddles on a stock Rappy. You can run more paddles, but sooner or later it becomes overkill (especially on a stock Rappy). BR>
If price is a concern, I believe the above mentioned paddles are the cheapest ones as far as Haulers go? If not, then they are close to the cheapest ones for our application.

I think any of the above mentioned ones will work. The edge's are good paddle tires too, and may make turning a bit easier.

Oh, and congrats on the new Rappy! I am sure you are going to LOVE it!

If you're going to be carving the dunes look into some 20 or 21" skat trak edges.

If you're going to be drag racing go for 22" 8 or 9 paddle extremes or regular haulers.

10 paddles is more than you'll probably want unless all your riding is done in the first 3 gears and all you're concerned about is how fast you get off the line. Even then it's on the high side.

If you go with a 20" paddle, get a wide one (11 inches) on an 8" rim for better floatation.

Also look into the Skat Trak Edge paddles........get the best of both worlds in paddle designs.

Get some 22-11-8 9 paddle haulers and put a pipe on it.

I just got a new Rator 700 and am looking for paddle tires. I am thinking about getting the Skat-Trak Extremes. They come in 8, 9 or 10 paddle designs. I want the 10 paddle but am worried that it may be a little too much for my quad. My quad is completly stock and I do most of my riding at Florence and Moses Lake. Any thoughts or advise is apperciated.

I would highly recommend the hauler 10 paddle tires set to about 3 to 4 psi. I went up a size in the back, I cant recall what size but whatever the stock size is go up one, you'll be impressed. On the front I run ITP sand star double ridge, they track really good........good luck
