I'm making a trip out there in Sept. with a group of about 10. It will be my first time out and these guys 10th anniversary. They say there is nothing like it. All i have to compare it too are the hills of sand in Oklahoma and pictures. I can't wait.

I'll be headin out to St. Anthony and will be on the sand on the 20th or 21st about 10 quadzillas deep. This will be my first but the groups 10th anniversary. What should or could I expect for weather and riding conditions? I have watched some video on Choke Cherry and WOW thats a big pile of sand. Does anyone else have plans on being there in that time period?

Still comin out there mid through the end of next week and haven't heard from any one. Looks like it might be a bit chilly. Is anyone gonna be around?

Back from Killpecker and St. Anthony and they rocked. The weather was a little unpredictable but those were some awesome rides. Cold weather and rain gear are a must. Thunder mountain and choke Cherry in 3rd gear, quadzillas rock. This place has something for everyone.

Some friends and I intend on going up to St. Anthony in August since it's hotter than he..... here at Little Saraha Dunes in Utah at that time. How is the weather during August? We thought we'd head north to escape the heat!!!!

Believe it or not I'm about to do the crazy thing and pick up one of those chinese buggys while heading to the dunes in St. Anthonys. I just wanted to check with some locals or people that have had dealings with Edge Powersports.... The buggy is for my wife and I'd hate to mess up the purchase.

I'm very new to this forum. This is my first post. So I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place. Anyway I'm looking to head up to SA form here in Utah for the first time in mid July. I've spent a lot of time at LS here in Utah but have been dieing to head up there. The thing that has been holding me back is not knowning where to camp up there. If any of you have been to LS in utah, I'm looking to camp somewhere like White sands. I've got a small camp trailer that I'd have to fit in site. Any info I can get would be great.
Thanks

St. Anthony's is great fun! huge huge hills, bigger than anywhere else i've seen....be carefull though...in the smaller dunes theres drop offs into lava rock....I loss a cousin that way....but as with any other riding area, you just gotta be safe....GREAT PLACE THOUGH!!

Hey LOCALS,
How is the sand? When does the complete dunes open? Is it May 1st? We are planning a ride down the first weekend in May.

There are no BLM restrictions. I thought full dunes did not open till May 1st. Just curious. Is the sand pretty hard in places? I like pulling my dirt tire on the hard stuff.
