yeah I havent checked out hollister yet. If you want some place to go riding without driving very far, there is a spot by dos palos on the san jaquin river that is pretty cool. lots of trails, and sand drag strip, and some pretty cool jumps.

Don't forget that he posted that it runs on "methanol & like airplane fuel". He also said that "alky is for slow bikes".
Hmmmm so this ds runs on methanol, airplane like fuel & nos. Must be fast hehehehehe.

We were at Hollister last weekend and they are getting very "tight" on their rules. They wanted me to open up the toyhauler so they could check all the bikes inside (which they've never done before). We also had 2 people get asked to go to the ranger station and they were tested for sound... both which failed miserably!! Just a warning if your bikes aren't sound legal or no vin on the frame or any other issue, they will ticket....but all in all it's a great place to ride!

Looks like we will be there the same weekend for the same reasons. I am going on Friday and coming home the day before Thanksgiving.

Mad, I dont know if your aware of this. But he did indeed admit that his daddy DOES NOT have such an DS. I can assure you that he aint coming to Pismo, LOL! He dont want any of my bolt-on bike...much less some of those monsters that yall have roaming the sand out west. LOL!

not that i know of, i only recently moved here from san jose about 2 years ago, the only place i ride right now is our front yard, lol theres like a acre or less to ride on.
if your in los banos it would probably be closer to check out hollister hills, we used to ride up there all the time until they started getting super picky on who they let in. theres also a place i think over between san jose and morgan hill off 101, i forget the name, but i think it might only be for dirt bikes.

yeah unfortunatly jobs and school dont permit such a fun vaca as you, well drive up sat morning at 5am, and come back sunday afternoon around 5pm.

yeah, hollister was fun, but thats exactly why we stopped going, why drive all the way down there to get hassled by the man, were there to have fun, not perform surgery. whatever.

I just came back from pismo this weekend, current status, nice but getting crowded, even thoough we were a week early there was still a good 5-10 minute wait at the gate.
the river was low both days, only about 5 inches max depth. the dunes are nice, tons of whoops everywhere. half way in the back theres a big sand wall, looks like it would make a nice razor back, but if you try to jump it the other side of it is ravaged with tracks from like a dozer or something, so beware, dont jump something without checking out the other side!!
