You do not need anything over a 7 paddle hauler..

21" 10 paddle Glider. You will be shocked at how well this set up works..

Woah there buddy, do you realize how much power you're actually losing with those paddles?! Thats WAY overkill! Why would anyone buy paddle tires for their looks? They are made for function. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 18 paddles?! Those are made for high horsepower drag banshees mostly, not a Predator LOL!

I've got them on a modified raptor and they are still a stretch, I'd stick to 6 or 7.

Flat drags and hill shooting need different paddles. Flat drags go for the most hook, hill shooters give up some hook to keep the rotating weight down. I run 9 paddle comp cut Paddla Brats for flat drags but I'd run 12 paddles if I could find them.

10 paddles on a 4-stroke work very well if bike and motor are built for it, I run my 10's most of the time, have 8 and 9's as well for different sand conditions.
You will be probably be best off with the norm/ 8's unless you have the ponies to pull 'um.

My pred does pretty well with these paddles.......it is just really hard to get off the line(you just have to know how to do it)..........I get along with them in the trails good too. Remember that I only go to the dunes once a year. I used to have these on our machine listed below my predator......it could handle them.....trust me. When we were down in Ok at little sahara.....in march mind you......our quad only lost once on the flat drag strip.......to a ds650 with nitrous(and much much more)........and when he ran out of nitrous, we passed him.......lol.
Tires are so expensive that I just kept them and ran them on my pred.......they are really really light weight.

22/11/8's on 7 paddles haulers is a superior set-up and is the most common. i hade ten paddles haulers and i ate up a clutch every season, and i do a lot of racing.

I run 25" 10paddle extremes on my 58hp sand bus...better known as a DS 650. They work quite well.

Any of you guys have any input about 10-paddle sand devils or haulers on a quad with over 400-500cc?
Anyone going to Glamis or Ocotillo this season?

I ride a YFZ450 with many mods and have rode at many sand dunes in different conditions. If you want to drag up dunes and you have good horse power there is nothing better than ten paddle haulers but if you want to play around more witch involves turning alot then you want a 8-9 paddle v blade. They do make a 10 paddle V Blade that i ran for a while and loved it.
