theres a 500ft grass drag in bozeman mt. oct. 2nd and 3rd.there having sled and atv classes,even have classes for the clunker quads,i mean utility quads.we went last year and had a good time.theyll let you camp over night at the track also. contact info is Rob 1-406-388-7273.hoping to see some guys from idaho there

yeah they run sleds also.they had alot of very fast mod sleds last year,evey thing from psi genisi motors to wicked custom tripples.i called the guy and he said theyll make classes as needed.i would say if they if they have enough girls theyll run a seperate class.entry fees are about 20 dollars a class,it may be 20 for the first one and 15.00 for each additional.

the only raptor in our area ive been beat by is one i built,Rob LaRoche owns it.by beat by i mean more than one race that some one got a bad start on.robs quad runs bar to bar with mine.tell him if hes soooo fast bring it to bozeman and show us.and yes every offical drag that me and eric have went to i have beat him.his ds will soon smoke my raptor though.
i have never raced the kid your talking about,i seen him at shepard one time with joey,and he was on a 250r i think.go to my pick page and you can see my new drag quad

i grudge raced a polaris xcr600 sled that was picking on us last year and beat him pretty bad with the 600,i also raced a 04 800 summit from high mountain,he beat me by a sled lenght or so.dave laroche helped the guy with the 520 banshee cure some shifting problems sunday and we grudge raced also,he beat my 600 by .002 in 550ft.the 520 didnt enter the supermod class but would of been a contender if he would of.
next year their going to add more classes,split them up by ccs and mods more.

i tried a set of 4-snows,the sleds dug up all the loose dirt and pretty much left hard pack.the 4-snows sucked,i switched to a set of yfz radials,seems the new radials work well,so do turf tamers,but the best 60ft times were by the 686 of robs using the new 19" holeshot mx4 tires with plenty of air

You don't happen to know how much the entry fees are do. I would be entering two quads maybe three depends if they have a kid class. Also are they running the women seperate my wife would probably like to try running the Prairie in the utility class.

Hey derbyking, are you the one that beat Erik's DS last year at that same place? If so, why did you supposedly lose ( note supposedly because I wasnt there ) to my buddies 686, all black with tcs front end and edelbrock carb? He keeps telling me this and I kind of find it hard to believe.

hey derbyking do you guys use paddle tires or just some good dirt tires on your quads. we will be having some grassdrags next month i think and the past years ive use paddles just wondering what you guys run.
