Had a very good experience at silver lake,mi. friday.I had never seen hills of sand so high. There was plenty of drag races up steephills.there was a lot of people not making it..I have 02grizz and I was hesitating to go up at first, but I eventally conquered them..I was hanging in there with the yfz450 and 450r raptors 400 exs and the 2strokes..Not saying I was as fast as these bikes but I made it up the steephills just as fast...There were some pretty good jumps..My buddy got some real nice jumps off some sandbars he has a kfx400..I will definitely be going back...

big waynster,I was there on friday. We were suppose to stay until Sat.,but we stayed at a campgroung on Fri nite and it rained on us and everthing got wet and we didn't know we had to pay another $24 at the gate,We were pissed and we just left back for home Sat morn. But fri we rode day from 11am to 9pm.Everything started going wrong one by one.My buddy's kfx 400 had no coolant after about 20mins.So he had to get coolant..then later discovered the housing was lose...I was running so hard my tab for the flag holder broke.Went to get a new bracket..An hour later his broke..another bracket..($10 each). We forgot to fill up the gas cans ($10 more)..No place near there took debit cards spent time looking for atms. But the best time was when we did finally ride..It was nice,we will be back, but next time just better prepared..The person that check list everything didn't go.That's why we had a hard time.I did meet up with one guy with his dad I think his forum name was sc504 with the yama moto-4.his dad had a z-400.Overall it was fun...

Sand is awesome and better than any drug. I started on a 4x4 in the dunes and ended buying a z400 just for the sand, kept my eiger for the dirty stuff.
