We were there Saturday didn't get there till about 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon. I was riding with my wife and kids. We didn't get around to the backside at all just played on the southside dunes near the day use area. Had a good ride though my 8 year old is starting to get the hang of riding in the sand and he was having a blast. I need to go riding without the kids so I can go try the bigger dunes, I have never tried Choke or Devils dune. Only my second time in the sand with paddles on my V. We ended up helping a couple young guys they busted a chain on a banshee back by Crapos, my wife pulled the banshee out with our Prairie 700. I really need to ride with someone who knows what they are doing so I can try the big ones out. Might make it out this weekend again should be packed though. Those big dunes can be pretty intimadating the first time you are looking at them thinking about trying to climb them.

It's actually 5000 feet there. Your stock jets in the 400 will be okay though I bet. Take the airbox lid off! We'll be there this weekend if you're around find us in the BLM camp, our rigs are on our pix page.

Hey looks like you had a good trip (besides your flat!) The sand conditions were really nice this weekend, smooth and firm. I see you made it out to the back too. How'd your EX pull the big hills, do okay? We were in the day use parking lot, our last minute change we didn't take the camper (should have though).
On Saturday afternoon there were some bike guys partway back busting some HUUUUUUGEE air doing tail whips and stuff it was really cool. I did some 60 footers and it was like I wasn't even getting off the ground compared to those guys.
Now Moses lake will never be the same for you! BR>

In fact we were back at Devil's Dune Saturday about 11 AM and there was an EX playing on the hill, a guy all by himself was that you? There were 3 of us on a YFZ a Rappy and a Blaster.

Choke Cherry was tough conditions Saturday. When the sand gets a little wet it ruts up, then you can't carry any speed up it, you bounce around just a little and you lose everything. Had to shift into 2nd to get the YFZ up it. My kid's Blaster did it, but it was in 2nd grinding hard for like 3/4 of the hill (he weighs 80 pounds too). Your EX looked like it ran pretty good on Devils Dune though. Thinking about getting one for one of my boys.

Yeah Pred we only rode friday night and Saturday, left about 4pm Sat afternoon. We'll be back down Thursday night at Desert Oasis and ride until my old body gives out totally (probably only take a couple of hours). Be there till I suppose Sunday. It's sad this might be our last trip this year, I always try to get there in September but hunting starts and firewood cutting and football and........SR

I'm so depressed being back at work after 4 days at St Anthony. I'm ready for my afternoon dune cruise.
