Welcome to the site first off. Ok This time of year Glamis is way to hott. Oceano Dunes(pismo) is a nice place to ride this time of year. There are places in pismo to rent quads and I think 1 place near glamis to rent. Glamis season is oct thru april. Other than that it is to hott for glamis.

No real surf it's mostly straight on surf with no breaks anywhere, there have been occational sand barges but those never last, but you can always take the board out anywhere theres waves.
Pismo right now is the time. Wait till the fall - winter for Glamis, unless you like 110 degree riding weather.

any are fine and you should vissit both but right now till halloween it's pismo time so i would do that if you dont want to wait, pismo has a handfull of places to rent on the beach but i would call and get them reserved, it's busy during the summer...
Glamis i would rent local and then drive down there with them, never seen a atv rental at Glamis..
2 totalley diffrent places, one is desert with the most dunes you will ever see in your life and pismo is great if you love the beach, a few dunes nothing too techinical but a great scene for sure....

I am looking for advice on which location is better to ride at and why. Also, I have just moved to california and left my utility ATV's behind and will need to rent, so any information on rental places would be very helpful, preferably places to rent at each location.
Thanks,
Kenny
