Monte from Brigam City, Utah has a 1420cc Suzy motor in his quad. It is Hunsakers old machine. Monte told me last year he ran 94 up the Face of Utah's Sand Mtn.. Monte is a fabricator at Thiokol where they make stuff for rocket engines and the space shuttle and he fixed all the front end issues.. The Cranker has run 90 up the Face.. Also our sand is wet underneath during Easter when K&T usuallly had the Cranker out so mph should have been higher if the sand was totally dry...

he said it had way too much power and that even with his extended swingarm he couldn't keep the front end down if he gave it more than half throttle. He was going to enter the drags but didn't for this reason, he did do some informal racing on the flats though and it was very fast. I asked how much power it had and he said over 100hp at the tires.

It was the 800 thats in the video on dune review except when i saw it he had out of frame drag pipes on it.

he was beating very nice banshees with drag pipes even when he was feathering the throttle to keep the fron end down. His son had a scrambler that was pretty fast also he was beating a lot of bikes.

Dabeechman, is there any video of the bike from A&S, I have seen the turboed busa and its crazy fast.

The busa has been beat by kims old cranker so its not the fastest. The A&S triple is faster then the turbo.

I saw one the other day that has to be one of the wildest ever. 910cc twin 2 stroke Polaris sled motor on nitrous, making about 230 horsepower. Pulls Choke Cherry at 72 MPH (radar gunned) shutting it down 3/4 of the way up to hit the brakes.
If your average Banshee hill shooter was a 9.90 Pro Gas car, this was a Top Fueler. Unbelievable.

Yeah, that video over on Dunereview is that same quad wheelying up the hill. The guy hates that video, he says he was just screwing around popping wheelies. When he lines up and shoots the hill it's a whole different ball game. Pretty nutty either way.

That must have been a different guy. This guy Norm builds his own engines, and in fact does porting and engine work for other people. This twin 2 stroke 910 he said is making about 230 hp.

its a race, not a dyno competition. if you cant get to the finish line first, end of story. power is nothing if you cant get it to the ground.

What about K&T's Crankenstein or the new 1300cc Turbo busa quad built by Heads-Up for the guys in the UAE. Go to Planetsand and in the UAE forum watch the vid's of the hill races as they have some very fast bikes.
