Drift wood II is "Pretty nice" if your standards are parking on asphalt side by side by side squeezed in pretty tight parking spaces with hundreds of other riders.
The rangers made you litteraly stay parked within the white lines designating your asphalt parking spot, theft of gas cans/paddle tires/tools is pretty common. And there was something about a limit of only 2-3 "on-road" licensed tabbed vehicles per spot, in order to prevent a large group of 5-8-10 people getting "one" spot yet having a bunch of trailers or tow vehicles.
First impression was that it would be the last time I'd every stay there........it was a zoo, and a low-class joint with trailer trash riff raff. Could of been just the weekend I was there, but I wouldn't recommend it.
The Woahink RV campground or Sand Land Frontiers are other private places you can ride right from your campspot to the dunes, and they're both run much better than a state park campground.

they are right you do stay in marked out spots, but i stay out in the dunes most of the time so it never bothered me. and there is fire pits and such with tables, but when you can use honeyman it's much better.

Thanks for the input.....well, sounds like some good and bad experiences there. We'll have to make the best of things, since we're booked.
