reservations usually sell out a month to two months in advance. You'll probably have to rent a room for the weekend.
Havent been to glamis so i wouldnt know where to set you on jetting. Sand is heavier in pismo so you might just leave the gear where its at and change it as you feel fit

Yeah start on the beach between pole 3 & 4 where the fence turns out towards the dunes. & slowly work your way to the flats. I should be there July 3rd for the day. So if you guys do it the day I'm there, I'm in & I'll lead...

i'll be at pismo all summer, i'm u for a dune ride. besides, u need some new equipment out there hopefully I wont be working that morning, or whenever the ride is. I'll be working for Steve's ATV Rentals all summer, so stop by. we got food, flags (which they charge a fortune for), and a bunch of other stuff. It's a big yellow trailer right beyond pole 2. A dune ride will be awesome, jus make it happen!

lol, i have a feeling that might work. the problem is convincing my semi-paranoid mother that it's not any more un safe to go riding on the 4th than ne other busy day. hopefully the "saftey in numbers" thing will convince her. if not, i can at least take my car out there and film what's goin on.

dude, what's with the badmouthing? so there was some controversey over a T-shirt design, 1 person can't ruin the dunes for all of us. besides, he knows he's not a people person, that's why he hired my boss, Ed, to take care of all the PR stuff and employees. not to mention that it's definately not kool to rip on a 16 yr old's first job that he's gonna have all summer. jettin between glamis and pismo shouldn't be too different, unless u re-jet for weather conditions. i don't think 400 feet difference will make much of a difference.

Well guys, looks like I'll be going for sure on the 4th. never been to pismo before. How far in advance to I need to reserve a spot if its not allready to late. And dabeachman, How should I gear my bike for dragging out there. Its geard to top out at 55 60 mph rite know (for olds). Should I bump it up to 70-80 mph for flat?. I have no idea where to start at. Also is the jetting a big change form glamis (400 feet above sea level)? How much is it for a weekend pass? Thanks dudes.

yah i know.sorta sucks not bein able to go far on a tank.i love drag racin though so i will have fun with it.im gonna work on gettin a yfz450 i think for my duner.tryin to get a 10 mil t rex that my builder has sittin on a stand.may actually have it before the 4th.we will see what happens.hey what do you think my 4 mil is worth?i will sell it with pipes ,no carbs broken in and dyno tuned.it is all brand new,hot rods crank,pistons .030 over,clutch,shift star mod,drag ported,cool head ,v force reeds,upp intakes,billet stator cover,billet water pump coverand cpi out of frames.not sure what i should sell it for if i do sell it.

my friend built them he was in 3rd at 4 stroke wars stock bore mod under 500 cc class.one is 13.?-1, ported,esr full system,ron woods intake,cams,41mm fcr,+4 arm,22-12-8 8 paddle ultralites.the others are stock comp,cam mod,sparks full exhaust,ron woods intakes,8 paddle 22-12 -8 ultralites,+ 4 arm.then we have a fourth with stock bore and piston, sparks full system,cam mod ,ron woods intake ,and 22-12-8 ultralites 8 paddle.

just rode the shee and it is faster than ever.i think i was runnin a lil lean before.i went up 2 jet sizes and the thing feels like it is haulin major ass.needed to get a +8 arm but had a +10 layin around so i threw that on.looks a lil crazy but we will see what happens.im hopin i can get it to launch consistently in 2nd gear.i just need to chrome my a arms and powdercoat my frame red and it will look really good.the full bores,new seat cover and chrome swingarm make it look like a new bike.sorry for the long post just excited that i have it runnin again.

you think that the +10 is to much for my 77rwhp 43 ft lbs 4 mil with 10 paddle sls?had the +5 on and it would wheelie if i launched in 1 st or 2 nd.im thinkin i should be able to launch in 2nd no problem now.i think a +8 would be perfect for it though.
