What about on a thursday afternoon? We are planning on leaving wendseday night from here and plan to get there thursday afternoon. Maybe you can block us off a big area babymoose. I will have a 35' trailer behind my superduty truck(20') and my friend coming out with us will have a 40' gooseneck behind his 30' toterhome so we need lots of space, lol. I should have a brand new baja x out there too, just sold my 2000 DS and hope to pick a baja x up by friday so i can break it in this weekend.

Anybody know where we can get water around st. anthony/rexburg? Do you think sand hills would let us fill up our water tank for a small fee? I dont feel like hauling 1000lbs extra(120 gallons) of water for 800 miles, i will be at 11,000 lbs, that 1000lbs helps on the hills. Thanks for any info. Sean

Cool, completely forgot about them. I will give them a call. If they have spots available for our dates i might just book them, that way dont have to worry about not finding a spot on our 12 hour drive out there, lol.

I will be going to St. A's from May 17-21 and was wondering if you can camp @ the BLM campground.

Also what are the restrictions of having open fires, both @ the BLM campground and Desert Oasis.

Thanks!!!

Shady,

Do you think the campground will have room come a Monday morning???

I will do my best to block off some extra area... we are still trying to find a different trailer so won't know what we will have for sure.

All I know is I will have my DS and VForce.... don't even know what vehicle I am taking yet..BR>
Thanks for the re-assurance!!!

BLM was pretty full as usual this weekend. Better show up during a weekday to get a spot.

But the sand was goooooooooooooooooood. BR>
Until I de-rimmed a tire and walked the old LT back to camp from the third set of razorbacks. BR>
Mrs Shady says I need the excersise though.........

Sandhills Resort is Mean Gene and they don't call him that for nothin'. And his wife, hoo boy, cranky!

Go to Desert Oasis and see Monty who is a great guy, just past their trailer house where you sign in there's a well water hose you can use to fill up, and even if you're not staying there I bet you can fill there, throw him a five or something.
