Sandfest... at "Pismo"????? I've never known/heard of their being a Sanfest @ Pismo. Is it the 1st one (1st annual) ?? When? is it going on?? Details please.....

First annual events usually don't have much of a turn-out and are not well organized. But what the heck! If it's really going to happen I'll probably go down, check it out, stay the night and ride the dunes. Hopefully it will continue each year and get bigger and better! It would be nice to have an event in this part of Calf.

Oooops. I think your talking about Dunefest (formerly called Sandfest). That takes place at the Oregon dunes, not Pismo.

Where are you getting your information on this??? Nobody on this board has mentioned a Sandfest at Pismo and June 12th is right around the corner. WHat type of racing, events are taking place? Is there a website that describes the even?

Sorry but if you going to plan an event like this six weeks out without any event info, advertising, or word of mouth don't expect much.
