That DS720 is a Mr Horsepower DS 730 - The first day we were swapping wins then the next day(Saturday I changed my front sprocket and I went downhill after that. So I popped back on the 13 again and kicked arse. Each ride my bike was getting faster. My breakin is going sweet now. My first day I raced Madracings 727 and he got me about 3 bike lengths but then he left. I wanted to hook up again on Saturday but didnt see him.
I will be there on the 4th of July as well. Lets all hook up at the strip.

Yea the only YFZ that got me was Lyle's 470, he got me once but I got him 5 out of the 6 times we raced. My YFZ ran like a raped ape and there is still more left to get out of it from tuning. Also beat that 720 DS with the drag pipe, and pretty much all the 690's and 727's but there was a couple that got me. Wasnt to far off mad's 727 either, cant wait to get this thing dialed in

LOL. Well if you only got beat one time by a YFZ450, It was when I was on it. The bikes seemed pretty even. I wish Lyle had some better tires on that day, But he was just running those v - paddle dune sliders. I guess he was running those tires for regular duning. He wasn't doing to much drag racing. He was to busy working on everyone's drag bike.
Yea it looked like he was trying to get the Ti KFX to run right most of the time. Did they ever get that thing to run right?

Oh dang... he had to mention the moving trailer.. hahah! If the truck hadn't been so close (inches away from the side), the whole issue could have been avoided...maybe next time I mention to them there is an issue going on, they'll pay attention to me.. haha! Ok RO, but you gotta be lookin for me too. Cant miss my POS , Its white and black cherry w/big a$$ chrome inframes, you cant miss the pipes they arent CPIs. I also have a 6pac rack on the back. I should be out there with a buddy on a red 400ex with a crazy looking head on it. Look for the head you cant miss it.

Sorry I missed everyone out there. Sunday wasnt a good day for me. I have a few mechanical problems that made me cut the day short. I got only a couple runs at the flats in the morning, and my bike wouldnt shift under power.

I don't know, If they did it was after I left the drag strip. I only raced you a couple of times. I thought you knew it was me. There was some other guy on the Sparks 470 most of the day. That's probably who you raced mostly. But your bike did run damn good & I don't think your bike was dialed in like it could be. You better get that thing dialed in, Because I want to race you a few times on my my bike to get a good idea of how much faster your 470 is than my bike. Before I go spending money on the kit. i got the bike tore down today. sleeve is egged shaped and 1/3 of a clutch plate is missing (probably the little pieces in the crank case) well the metal went through the oil passages and destroy the cam, head and valve body. now for the kasea 90, riped the rear motor mounts right out of the cross brace and also twisted the front drive line in my truck. looks like i will be charging double this week at my shop (HA HA)

I'll be there Memorial Weekend. Not sure where the camping spot is. There may or may not be a Raider flag being flown...I think it's being held hostage, or the ransom may have been paid. Pretty good sized group I think.

Fildo, just noticed you are from Clovis. Do you ride much locally? Usually I ride either Miami Trails, Hollister or Pismo. Always trying to find more local people to ride with.

Yeah the wind was horrid out there. Even had a trailer decide to move by itself. Luckily or unluckily a nice Ford truck was there to stop it. Out in the dunes it was really nice though.
Anyone know what the final count of stolen quads that the CHP recovered? When I went through Friday about 1pm or so the guy said about 1/2 dozen.

Yeah OOC. My Dad has been riding for as long as i can remember. He use to race "scramble'" races, he raced BSA & Triumphs back then. He has super 8 silent videos of him racing. He also use to ride Harleys and go on "Poker Runs" when he was younger. About 10 years ago he use to ride a 88 Banshee and back then use to have fun with the "Young Guns" but, now he likes to cruise around the dunes watching me and his grandson racing!

I was there this wkend and the wind was horrible.....Monday was the nicest day of them all which sucked since I had to leave. I talked to a guy who was there and he asked the CHP how many bike were recovered and he told me there was 19 stolen quads recovered as of Friday evening....THAT"S AWESOME I just hope the original owners get them back soon if they were registered. I was shi!!ing bricks because I thought they were checking red stickers but, all they wanted to see was the registrations and they didn't even bother about the red sticker issue. I hope everyone had a good time!!

i was there sat and sun and man it was windy. there was still quite a few ppl out tho. saw mad out there racing saturday but didnt get to race him... saw him getting pulled away sunday.. anyone know how that guy with the black banshee that got lifted away in the choppers doing? the drag strip was only bumpy on the left side. the 4 strokes seem to rule the drag strip this time the sparks kawi and cr450 were the fastest... wish i knew what your bike looks like OOC

Ah, Pismo was a mess on Saturday. Saw more quads rolling in one day than I ever have combined in a year. Also witnessed a guy on a Warrior land ON TOP of a 250R. I helped seperate the quads and made sure the guys were ok. The guy that got landed on was limping for awhile but ended up being alright.

I will be there with another buddy. 2 rigs, one white chevy truck with a 20ft carson fun runner, and a red full size 4wd drive can with a 20ft carson fun runner. 2 preds, 1 vforce 700, sportsman600(lol), and the other guys family and 2 kids got whatever else.

Hey screaminjlew my dad used to race out of visalia during that time. He still has his BSA Goldstar. You ought to ask your old man if they knew eachother. His name is James St. Clair. They might have ran in the same circles. I know my dad talks about racing all over the valley.

I was at Pismo yesterday and it was allready getting packed. Also before you go Make sure your bike is registered. The CHP has a road block right on the beach and they are checking your registration. If you have an enclosed trailer their making you open her up. Wich I think is an illegal search! So Have fun Guy's

if the problem with your trailer was taken care of when you found them ie putting up plywood around your trailer it wood not have happen. ps my truck was where it was trying to stop the wind from digging the sand from your trailer
