Definately go with the Skat's Extreme or Taller Hauler. The 700 has plenty of power for either and you wont be disatisfied with the hill climbing ability. V shaped paddles are fine if you want more manuverability, but sacrafice the hill climbing and drag ability you are looking for. I started with Edges and switched to Extremes. You may want to purchase some Sand Stars though for the front, as I did, they will help alot with turning. Good luck.

I would have to agree with green700 on the 22's. I have 22x11x10 haulers and love'em. They are such a light tire and hook up extremely well. Get ready for some wheelies

I am new to the paddle tire thing. I have heard that the 22x11x10 Haulers are the way to go for racing and hillclimbing. Then I have heard the you can not turn/slide well with them due to the straight paddle design. I would like to climb anything, show the power of the V and play around at the dunes. Which tire is best for me? Hauler or something like a Sand-Star (V pattern)? Can someone give me the lowdown on paddles? Thanks guys.

we run 24inch skat trak extremes. We first used a v pattern type and it just sucked. The vforce got stuck everywhere it went and was slow. Now it keeps up with my yfz450. I have acctually lost to the vforce on my yfz a couple times since he put those tires on.

The sand stars will make you sad. The extremes will make you glad. Dont go smaller than 22, friends would get tired waiting for you.

Just memorize that rhyme before you go to the tire store.
