I have ridden mine at St. Anthony's a couple of times. Its all stock. The first time with stock tires. Did pretty good for the most part. I used 4wd alot but i was able to go most anywhere.
The second time i used paddle tires with stock tires on front. Much better. I only used 4wd a few times to get moving then back into 2wd. I had a blast. Other than the tallest dunes, i was able to go everywhere. In stock form the weight just won't allow it to climb hills like thundermountain or the other big hill climbs. Everything else was no problem. I even got to tow a friends 4trax about 2 miles back to the parking lot. I don't think it could have been done without 4wd.
You should have a lot of fun with it. Good luck.

You will definitely have fun. My sister has a 2wd Scrambler and the paddle tires are a permanant fixture. Here in utah, you can't take it on the big dunes though. I've tried taking it up sand mountain but can't reach the 1/2 way point. But you can still have a blast on the thing. I would.

I ride mine at the Oregon Dunes all the time. It does great. It is not an all out dune machine, but you won't be disapointed. The more paddle like tire you can find the better and like bing said air down a bit and your great.
