You will also need valid ORV stickers on your quads/bikes. Also...no alcohol on the sand. If you do a Google Search on "Sand Lake Dunes", you will find some good info. (=

Derrick, when are you going to Sandlake? We'll be there July 25-29.

Derrick, I believe for Sandlake your choices are:
Sites 1-60 reservable online
Sites 61-101 first come, not reservable
2 Overflow parking lots
Sand camping

We just got another new TB. I talked to a salesman at the Enumclaw shop and he said it looked quite used, aftermarket pipe, very loud.

derrick88- i would recommend that you look at the POP-IT flag system it is a little more money but it has a break away feature that can come in very handy if you have a fall or just forget and knock it off with your foot while getting on your quad(i am sure someone else has done this).pop it has been around for a very long time and it is a good quality set up.

YFZn - where did you find out about the color in CA? Just curious. Some friends were talking about having our own flags made and I want to point them to this so they know.

Were' going down to Sand Lakes Oregon next week & I need to pick up a couple of flags, anything special or will any kind do?

I saw some at the local atv shop a while back & they had 2 sizes one had to be 8 feet tall where the other was about 6 feet.Should I get the taller ones. They were both triangle style with the shops name on them.

Thanks,Derrick

Thanks for the help guys.

Barapt, were going down tomorrow(wednesday)no reservations so figured mid week would be best. We'll be there until Friday or Saturday depending on how things go.Whats the best camp ground to stay at?

Were'nt you guys looking for a Trailblazer250? The dealer out here has a used one & I think the price was about $2900 for a 2002.

In CA it is also required you have a red or Orange flag also.

When I was there last year, the ASA came around looking for donation to re-open the Glamis closure. They where giving a black/white checkered flag for the donation, but told us to keep the Red/orange flag on because it was law.

So if you go Custome (atleast in CA) add it to your current red/orange flag.

I'm pretty sure the law says they have to be 8 feet off the GROUND, so the 6 footers would work. I would get the longer ones though, because you WILL break them and it gives you more room to trim/shorten them a little. JOhn
