Stay away from the Sand Devils and the Roosters. Sand Devils don't perform very well, I've seen them in action, and they are just too heavy compared to a Hauler. The Roosters have been having problems with the durability of the rubber on the paddles. On the middle of the paddle, they are cracking, and actually breaking off on some bikes. This is just after a weekend of riding. There is a discussion about them on another forum... can't say the name or my post will get deleted (so I've heard). But on this other site, there are pictures of how the paddles are ripping up.

I was looking at RMATV and noticed they are out of stock !!! Does anybody have a set and how do they perform . I'm waiting to see for responses before final decision on purschase .

It's either Sand devils or extreme haulers right now and now being thrown in the mix is sandstars by ITP . so many choices dang what to do LOL . we dont do a lot of hill shooting mostly short drags and i really like to bust air .

Thanks

Welcome in Larry thanks for the First Post !!!

I appericate all the information so far I've been running a set of Trackers { angled } and they are definetly to short i over power them and blow my holeshot chance they run good at top end though i know i need taller when we were cresting the dunetops ,I'l drag skid and sometimes even post hole dig . this was in Little Sahara Ok . Not many pictures SORRY we spent most of our time riding at night it was hot out there .

Shawn had haulers on his shee and i liked the impact i't had with the drags , I know i need a taller hauler so it looks like Extreme Haulers are the ticket .

the rooster suck for higher HP machines...i had them on my raptor...they spun like mofos...tried different air pressure and nothing helped...get a extreme or normal hauler!!!

i think the rooster would work much better on a warrior, or a majave, 300ex type machines!

sand skate 2's would be your best bet. they r a 'V' shape so you have better handling. but they have a stiffer, bigger paddle than all the other 'V' paddle design tires.

New to forums. Have to put my 2 cents in. Just got done purchasing the Maxxis Rooster Pro Wedge and ran them hard for two days straight. These are the ones with a v shape. The only wear thats on them is from the asphalt at spinreel. They do hook up good but do not do big roosts. They are a good all around sand paddle. After these wear out (or before) i'll purchase sand skate 2's or extreme haulers. These two paddles, to me, have the best hook up so far. SS2's are v shape and extreme are straight. I was tired of RMATV for being out of stock. I ended up getting them at Chaparral. They where 1 dollars than RMATV and shipping was 10 a tire. But I will keep an eye out for the problem that Chad400ex wrote about. As for Sand Devils, I have no clue......
