This is the best mod for any ATV hands down.

gearing, will help

The header on that bike is TINY! An aftermarket header does a world of good.
The 300 already has a 13 tooth front, which is small. I never tried a 12, but I bet it will make the chain rub on something being so small.

Back when my daughter had a 300, I bought an FMF PowerCore IV for it, and lo and behold FMF sent along a header with it. The point is, they will not sell you a muffler without a header. That should tell you something about how lame the stock header is!!

i have a 300EX and i've had it for 3 months, i ride at pismo all the time and i've already put nerf bars, paddles, and the White brother's E-series silencer on it. what would be the best thing to upgrade next? i'm putting in a new air filter tommorrow. is it worth it to buy a new head pipe? i'm looking for something that improves all around performance, or even just looks. i can't afford something like new shocks or an extended swing arm. what would u suggest?

thanx, i know suspension is the best, but i don't have enough money to get new shocks. i'm only 15 and it would take me like 6 months to save up for one shock. by the time i had enough to by the shocks, i will be looking at a new quad. when u say gearing, what would u reccomend? i've heard that jus dropping 1 tooth in front will give me loads more power.

i have the white brothers E-series silencer, it's made a big difference, will the E-series head pipe really make that much of a difference? is it worth the 130 bucks?

i checked the stats on the FMF full system, and the E-series silencer. the E-series silencer alone is the equivilent of the FMF full system. besides, it will come out to be the same price as the FMF since i get discounts at the shop i order my parts from. and once i get the head pipe (in a few weeks) my exhaust will add my horsepower than the FMF.
