I never saw but one cop and he was in the parking lot at the face, the ONLY bike i heard that needed a ticket the whole day was that one fudrucker on that Kawaski that never left the lot, his pipe was LOUD as heck and even hurt my ears clear back at the restroom.

I only ride in the sane, i used to ride gravel roads and and places like christmas valley, but the dust was to much, and the rocks chipping the heck outa my frame and making it rust made me mad.......

rode at florence over the fourth and didn't see to many sound cops, couldn't believe it. rode all over without to much to worry about.

how did i know it was the green 400, you know what is funny i think that thing is bored to a 440 and it is slower than piped honda 400's my 10 year old has let him see the back of a honda a lot of times. funny how you can mess up a machine. i saw him get a ticket 2 months ago must not get it, and it is by far the loudest thing i've heard out there.

i mainly ride sand, since the coast is only 3 1/2 hours away we take the camper and spend the weekend. we live in central oregon and it must have one of the best trail systems around but we don't care for the dust. so the coast works for us. we have a large group of friends we meet there and it makes for some real fun. we'll me meet up sometime, you can ride one of the ds's so you have a good feel for them there not all wimpswell let me know if you are going to sandfest.

I didnt hear many loud bikes,,,,just fast ones (except mine)
There were a few friendly forest service people around,,,,other than that,,no hassles.

Yup, I went down w/Techtip and Bighonda.
I saw you over at the bottom of the hill from a distance as we headed out.
Lets just say Im not quite used to all that fluffy sand.
I pretended I was riding a blaster,,,and then I felt better. That sand eats so much hp,,,its frustrating.

Ive rode there 5 or 6 times and still havent see any. I guess I should consider myself lucky. Hey how was the TVI 720 running? Who and what did you race? TVI was parked next to us at sandlake, nice people.

Actually we never got to see him run it. IT SUCKED. this was a coupe of weekends ago but he got there I wana say around 12 and we were just leaving on a big ride then we came back saw him talked a little he went off on a ride and came back right as we were leaving out on another ride and we never got to seehim again. I really wanted to see that thing run too. Do you know a guy who has a DS with a blue NOS bottle behind the front bumper, all shaved fenders, big loud pipe and I think a black front hood piece... he was there the weekend before that but I dont now who he was. Thought he might be someone from here.

I was also down at Florence (well Hauser to South Jetty) and saw only one ranger in two days (7/2-7/3). He was very friendly and didn't even blink at my pal's Raptor w/Yosh pipe (it's louder than my 'zilla).

There was a dude at the south Jetty lot, screamin up the hill all day. He was riding a green ?. Some little kid on his dads Banshee smoked him, and he went to the far left side to race. The cops did ticket him for something. He came back out on a different bike. ALOT QUIETER!
His bike was so annoying. Couldn't even talk to the family his bike was so loud.

BTW, have you talked to anyone that was down at Boxcar over the 4th? I heard it was friggin insane down there.

Only saw one Forest Service rig this weekend and he was talking to someone as we rode by. Decent weather, no breakdowns, no injurys, no hassle's. Hopefully next weekend goes that same.

Just got back from Florence. Was there from thursday to sunday and didn't see a single cop or forest service guy. Maybe I just got lucky and was in the right place at the right time. It seemed to be the theme for the weekend. Got to see a couple banshees on alcohol run at comp and when we went to the little lake at the tree island due west of comp to swim we ended up with three topless girls in there with us.

Hell, If I had known you were gonna be there on Sat. we could have tore up the dunes together Sandman. It was an all adult weekend (everyone left there kids and dogs at home) so we had a damn good time.
Oh and I'm sorry but we didn't get any videos of the swimming hole........we did however have a camera. Mwa ha ha ha!!!!
