I run a set of 10 paddle haulers and think they are great, until you are trying to turn while on the throttle or simply kicking the rear end around. I used to run 10 paddle Scat Trak edges and they are a much better tire for all around dune riding. The Haulers just hook up too much for playing around. Dont get me wrong, I would not run anything but haulers for drag racing, but Im going back to Edges when these are wore out, as I dont just drag race!!!

I've got the 8 paddle haulers on my 310R and they rock. I think 9 or 10 would be to many for anything but a 350 or bigger.

Your choice is excellent just don't run them in any kind of hard pack, they break apart easily.

I'll second that!

I have those exact same tires on my DS, and I love them. I am not sure, but I think for two strokes, you can go up to like the 10 paddle haulers and they work better. I am not sure on this and maybe someone will chime in and straighten me out.
I love the skat trak tires overall.

I run 21*12*8 8 paddle haulers and they wrok great on my 250r, the only down side about them is that they don't turn worth crap even with mohawks they are great for climbing hills though.

I ran 20" 9 paddle haulers on my stock (no porting) cylinder 250R with K&N, Delta-V-Force reeds, 38mm airstryker, Paul Turner Midrange pipe, and a CR headgasket.
If your motor is "ported and polished", AND jetted correctly, I would think you would have no problem turning 8, or 9 paddle haulers. I wouldn't go with 10 paddle haulers though.

I have 8 paddle haulers on my 400EX and they work great. I had 20x10x10 on my wifes 300EX and I liked them, but it was very easy to dent the rims if you him any rocks. I went with 20x10x8 on my 400EX this time.

I have a trx250r, thinking about getting some haulers for it. I was thinking about 20x10x10 8 paddles. Anybody have any opinions or suggestions. The motor has been ported and polished and a pipe. Thanks for the help.!

if your still at 250cc stay with teh 8 paddle... the 10 paddles are better for big bore and 500's.

I've been running 10 paddle 22 X 11 X 10 Haulers on 8" wide rims, they hooked too much, made hill climbing an exciting adventure. I just ordered a set of 8 paddle 22 X 11 X 10 Extreme haulers on 9" wide rims, I'll test them at the drag strip next weekend & at Little Sahara On the 19th. I'll let you know how they work.
Turning on Haulers is more difficult than angled paddles but I don't use as much body language on sand as I do trail riding.

I run the 22x11x8 9 paddle cavlar haulers and I love them.

I'm running a set of 22-11-10 10 paddles on an LT500. Best sand tire available for traction. LOTS of traction. The only problem is turning...It will not turn. I would stay with the 8 paddles for anything else. A buddy is running a set of 8's on a LT250R and they work great.
