Guys,
My riding buddy got into a wreck a couple of weeks ago and cant ride for awhile. I am new to the Phoenix area and want to head to Glamis/buttercup/Gordons well for a few days later this week, but Im not real stoked about hanging out at the dunes alone for obvious reasons. IF anybody is headiing to the above mentioned areas ( i dont care which one) would it be possible to camp with you? I have a tent and whatever, I just need somewhere to pitch it and some people to enjoy a beverage with. If you think you could hook me up, let me know by wednesday evening. Im going regardless, but I would feel better if I could meet some people from the ATV COnnection...

AZsand.... WOW!!!!...... OUCH!!! I wiped out on some whoop's in 4th gear about 6 months ago.I recived cracked feemir bone,cracked sturnam,2 cracked ribs,broke the tip of my hip! CRASHING SUCKS BAD!!!! well i hope you get well soon, maybe next time.

I dont think our buddy will be doing much of anything for awhile. He bit it hard two weeks ago at Glamis:
Broke 8 ribs
Collapsed a lung
Seperated his shoulder
And several other bumps and bruises
Not to mention he already has several pins/screws from a previous motorcycle accident several years ago.
Anyway, Troy if I can get my rear brake problem solved I 'ought to be able to make it for 1-2 days. I dont think I'll know untill late Thursday night though. Considering its my only brake I want to make sure it stops on a dime so I dont get the same bed Eric had at the hospital!

HEY Roostking sorry to here about your buddy my group will be heading to gordons well for new years you are welcome to join us
we have a larger group but some people aren't going to make it and our group ranges from 10 years to 50 and there are all kinds of bikes so you can take your pick on what type of ride you want to go out on any wasy if your intrested pm me and ill get you set up
ps your hurt buddy can come to.and set i camp with me and have a few beers [if he's old enough ]im hurt too at the moment but i still can't miss a trip.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE INVITE SAND45 but im not in much better shape than there buddy. i dislocated my shoulder and hip one broke rib slight skull fracture. well i guess i am in better shape now that i look at it. but ill be down for awhile im making a few apperances
because i have people counting on me but for rigth now thats it.last sunday at glamis the winds were 45 mile per hour + and i was jumping dunes and a gust got me sideways and that was that.lunch at the emergency room and dinner.any ways i realy appreiciate the invite.

ouch, i just bought a new banshee to ride the dunes with my 6 year old(he has an lt80),,mabey i'll leave it stock for awhile!!! either that or you guys just get a little too ugh ?wild? at the end of january i will take a month off,and want to hit all the dunes between houston and oregon, lets see-little sahara(closest) then to pink sands? utah then dunemont glamis then head up to silverlake or. any other dunes I should hit???? thx sharkfin if anyone wants to ride along ill post it as the time gets near, its nice to have someone with you who knows the areas..
