Exactly. The 300 is a shaft driven quad. He isn't talking about slapping big mud tires on an EX.

What sprocket?

I have a 97 300 4x4 with 25x9.5x12 Vamps on 12x7 ITP wheels and I can turn them. They weigh 36 pounds. I know the 589's are less than than.

That would be near crazy to put 26 inch rear tires on an EX.

He's not talking about an EX, he's talking about the 300 4x4 or 4x2, utility quad.

26" tires are huge. If you are determined to go with that size then I strongly suggest re-gearing it (smaller front or larger rear sprocket). I doubt the bike will be able to turn those to your liking.

I'm sorry to say, I don't think you will. I had a 99 Honda 300trx runing 25X10X12 and 26X12X12 Blackwaters on Douglus rims and I can not tell you all the times that I could not spin the tires even if my life depened on it. try to get the pipe, try to get as much power as you can from it. I took mine back to Honda after a month an got a FormanS 450.

I have a trx300. If I add on a K&N Power kit, will I have enough power to turn 25x10x12(front)
and 26x12x12(rear) Titan 589's? Also, will I need a lift?

I'm ain't stupid enough to put 26 inch tires on a 300EX. That is just common sense.

Do you think my "utility" trx300 4x4 can turn the 589's.
