Titan 589's are a good mud tire, they're also pretty good for trail riding.

Most of the guys in my area run the Swampers or Vampires. Any deep lug mud tire is going to make all the difference in the world.

Brian, I have 25" x 8" in the front and 25" x 10" in the rear. I bought the Goodyear Mudrunners. They work great. Haven't had to use my winch since the mudrunners were installed. I ordered my tires from treadepot.com. Riding on the concrete drive you notice the ride isn't as smoooth as the dirthooks. But who rides on concrete and pavement anyways.

Many of our club members us the Sur Traks. I am going to put a set of 25" on my Rancher in the near future. I asked about the Mud Bugs & Black waters & people in the club still liked the Sur Traks

Brian, You won't see much of a power loss if any with 25" tires. 26" tires would be a different story. My wifes Recon & kids E-ton get new mud tires first, that way I don't have to get off my Rancher & give them a lift or push. Then I getting my tires.

I think the power loss will only be noticed on the top end with the 26" tires.

I put the 26" mudrunners on my Xplorer and did lose some top end speed and a bit of manuverability.(which is to be expected) They are amazing tires though! I went though some quick-sand like mud in 2wd and crawled right through...my buddies SP500 with stock tires did not make it though... R.I.P. You won't be dissapointed with them...no matter what size you get.

Hi Snowshark, Do you know anyone that has 25" tires on a Rancher? I just bought a new Honda Rancher 4x4 about three weeks ago and was curious to know how it would handle a set of 25" Goodyear MudRunners? Do you think there would be any noticable powerloss by going up to a 25" tire? Thanks for any info.

I just bought a new Rancher and I am looking at buying some mud tires for it. Does anyone know if 26" tires will fit on a Rancher? Also, what are your opinions on the best MUD tire? Thanks.

So, you think 26" tires will cause a noticable power loss?
