I run Bear Claws on my KQ and they seem to be very good in the limited amount of mud encountered here in Az. As for traction in the hard pack we have here, they do a credible job, but certainly not the best. Even tho the rubber compound is quite hard, as it is in all the Kendas, the wear factor, I think, would not be good in this terrain. I'd certainly never dream of using them on my Warrior. So, if the terrain you ride is fairly soft with moderate mud, the Bear Claws would probably be a good choice for you

Looking to buy a pair of rear tires for my 350 Yamaha 4 wheeler and considering the 25*12.5 Bear Claw. Any opinions on these tires for overall performance including endurance and traction? Comments appreciated!

I have Bear Claws on my Y2Kodiak. I went with the OEM size to retain the horse power. They are 4 ply rated and really hook up. At 3.5 psi they are smooth riding. They seem to be wearing well. Kenda says they are a medium to hard compound.

Mork, I've got 24" BC's on my 400 Foreman. So far I have found them to be more than adiquate fro the type of riding I do. They get great traction in mud, handle well on hard pack, and don't destroy the yard while I'm tooling the kids around and loading it on the truck. I can't say much for duribility since they aren't that old yet. I can say that I haven't had any flat problems and I do, occasionally, ride some pretty rough trails. (Briars, Thorns, locust trees) Good luck, tell me what you think when you get them.

I have 22" Bearclaws on the rear of my new Scrambler. They are aggressive and look great. Traction is very good too.Today I saw a set of 25" and they looked pretty good. But my personal preference is for the Mudrunners. Great on all surfaces and in deep mud. Deeper logs and more rubber. It all depends on what and where you ride. Go check them out in person!
