get the itp mx tires in 18 inch they are the best i have used. stay with a smaller tire works better for mx than a 20. but if you have to have one of those two go with the shredder. get a 4 ply or 2 ply you want as light as possible.

I have a 300ex and I was wondering which one of these tires would be best for mx and trails. I'm planning on getting them in 20" and 6 ply. antbody that has these let me know what you think. later :D

well like I said I ride trails (with lots of rocks that are known for shredding tires) so I'm gonna go with a 20" 6 ply. well thanks for the advice anyways. so you got a yz426 in a 400ex frame??? man that must be awesome. later man :D

I am currently using 20in. 6 ply shredders and bandit xc tires. Both are great tires. The bandit xc have been indestructable. They work great on tacky mx tracks, mud, and rocks. Have many cuts in them from rocks with no flats. I use them on my banshee and blaster.
