I want to run +2 A-arms for MX (also +1 front rims). I want to run the same bike for Cross-country and want to run as narrow as possible to get away from the trees. What do I do?
Are -3" offset front rims available, if so this would probably expose the spindles.
What if I have shocks setup for +2 arms and narrow the bike, wouldn't this stiffen the front spring rate considerably?
What do you guys do?
Also, I notice alot of the pro MX bikes have severe camber on the front tires, why is this and what is the point of a decreased contact patch?

assuming you are taking trx. stock honda wheels have the most negetive offset. you try running aftermarket 2+3 wheels for mx and stock for xc but your shock setup will be way to stiff, besides the leverage difference between the a-arms a mx setup is stiffer than xc. you may want to switch to stock arms and wheels for xc and different shocks.the negetive camber places the tire more upright in a hard turn instead of rolling over, it helps in all racing types. also i highly recomend beadlocks front and rear in xc for thier strenth. k&n atv sels them for $135 each or you can have champion install beadlocks on stock wheels for $85 a wheel.
