The Razr 4's are just out. I don't think you will find anybody who own's a set just yet.........

I had ATR's on some ITP rims on my Ranchers. They are a superb snow tire, and I will keep them for that application, but out on the trail they turn the sweet handling little Ranchers into clunkey handling slugs. I have come around to the realization that big tires are for big quads, and the smaller machines need to stick with smaller rubber.

The ATR's are a GREAT allaround tire... im not sure about the razers

id opt for the ITP Holeshots. great tire for something like a wolverine or renegade.

Since you have both tires which one do you like better? Have you swapped the tires between both bikes?

have you looked at maxxis all trak tires they are a real good tire and they hook up nice just a thought

I'm looking for user input on Maxxis Razer 4 Speed and ITP Holeshot ATR tires.
What are your likes, dislikes, would you buy them again, what are you using them on and for what type of riding.
Thanks, Derrel

I love the way my Wolverine handles now with the factory 23" Maxxis Lynx tires. I'm trying to find something in a 25" tire that will handle the same but with the extra ground clearance.
BTW I just ordered a set of the Razr 4 speed's for my wife's Grizzly 400. I'll post my impressions in a few weeks.

I just got the Razr 4 speeds mounted on my wife's 07 Grizzly 400 today and they look great. I've only ridden up and down our dirt road but they sure seem better than the stock rubber that came on her bike. I'll post some impressions after a trail ride. Not sure if they're the right tires for my Wolverine.

Well we went for a 2 hour ride and my wife loves the new tires. We swapped bikes for a while and I think the 4 speeds are a big improvement over the stock tires in ride comfort, handling and traction. I'm still leaning to the Holeshots for my bike.

I mounted the Holeshots up on my bike today and MAN do they look great! I can't wait to go for a ride on them. The difference in size between the Maxxis and the ITP's is amazing for tires that are supposed to be the same size.

I did look into the All Traks and I went with the Holeshots. The All Traks look great and I hear they handle real well but I am concerned about durability in the rocks here in New Mexico. The All tracks are a 2 ply bias ply tire and the Holeshots are a 6 ply radial. I love the way these Holeshots ride, hook up and corner! They are just what I was looking for.

I agree with acpower, the Holeshots are great for a Wolverine. For my riding style and local terrain they work really well and I think better than the 4 speeds. The 4 speeds are a smaller tire and have more pronounced sidewall roll than the Holeshots. That being said they do offer very good ride comfort, control and hook up way better than the stock tires that came on my wifes Grizzly. I have not tried the 4 speeds on my Wolverine but I'm glad that I could compare them side by side.
