i guess i'm lucky. there's a local farm Co-op that'll mount a tire on a rim for $5. the local bike shops want $20+.

Just curious how many of you mount your own tires vs. take the tires/wheels to a tire shop for them to do for you?

Anyone tried to mount any of the bigger 6 ply mudding type of tires without a machine?

they usually do a good job, just try to avoid getting helped by the skinny gothic teen with bad skin who doesnt give a crap about his own life nevermind your tires and wheels
